E-Titties

Alluded to earlier in the Game Thread

During the press conference he was asked about Curry's play and man he just paused long and hard. Almost like it all hit him right then and there, he realizing what he did by trading for him........" Wow I gave up 2 Lottery picks and 2 2nd round draft picks for him." It appeared like he bit his tongue to avoid responding with a Profanity Laced Tirade on him but instead stumbled over an explanation resulting in saying "defensively he has to give the team more."

Personally I feel E-Titties has pretty much zero trade value.

If he can be traded what are some realistic trades?

If we won't explore trading him then I want him permabenched. He should only come into games for foul trouble situations.

Isiah should be banned from trading. Dolan is a bigger waste of life if he allows him to make trades.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Curry for Kwame Brown & a 1st rounder or Javaris Crittendon?

any expiring deal that comes w/a pick at this point should be a consideration... i didn't wanna give Curry up for basically not even half what we gave up for him to begin with, but it's obvious that this frontcourt of Zach & Curry just isn't gonna work out... since Zach's contract is pretty much untradeable, i think u have to explore trade opportunities for Curry that will help to cut some payroll & obtain a pick or young player that has some upside.

i think zach has more trade value because he is better. i'd look into trading zach to chicago for tyrus thomas or more realistically joakim...they could use a low post player and thomas and noah are a bit repetitive, but they would fit well with curry

u need contracts to make the dollars work... the only viable trade w/the Bulls for Zach would have to involve Ben Wallace... personally i'd make that deal today if i could since Big Ben's contract runs a year shorter than Zach's... God knows we could use a shotblocking presence on this damn roster.

how about Zach & Nate for Wally Z, Delonte West & a future protected pick?

West has plantar fasciitis, but he's a talented young player that i think can really help this team when he's healthy... Wally's contract runs 2 years shorter than Zach's & we could use some perimeter shooting from the SF position... he's always wanted to be a Knick... Zach will add some inside bulk to the Sonics & will improve their starting 5... Nate will be back home in WAS & hopefully will stop being a knucklehead.

if u make the Curry for Kwame & 1st rounder trade & follow that up w/the Zach/Nate for West/Wally Z/protected pick trade, u will end up w/this:

C - Kwame / Morris / Turd-a-licious
PF - D Lee / Malik / Jefferies
SF - Wally / Balkman / Chandler
SG - Jamal / Jones
PG - Marbury / West / Mardy

not only would you end up w/1 of the worst teams in the NBA this year, which would guarantee us 1 of the top 3 picks in the lottery w/which u can take a guy like Rose or Mayo, u'd also have another mid round & a late round pick for Isiah to use on a defensive shotblocker for the frontcourt & another player.

& the best part about this is the fact that we would have a legitimate shot at targetting Kobe, Lebron or Wade in '09 after Marbury, Malik & Wally Z's $43 million dollars worth of contracts all come off the books!

love the idea- but please, isiah can't be part of this organization- especially if we're trading his big bets away

The Bulls would have just made that offer to Portland if they had any interest in Zach. No GM other than Isiah has interest in him. The next GM is gonna have to just buy out Zach or take back something even worse.

Is that in addition to trading Curry? While Curry and Zach may not be ideal, I'm not sure I would trade both of them at this point, cause I think having a post scorer would help (even if they are not the team's star).

Anyway on its own, I really like Delonte West. I think in a post based offense he'd be a good PG.

2 lottery picks and 15 players for 5.5 rebounds a game.

Some people are enamored with scoring. Isiah is one of them

The only person with trade value is Lee. No one is going to take Zach or Curry.

We can't make any moves that don't shed salary and don't hint at stripping it clean and then rebuilding it down the road.

We are hardly 'just a _____ and a _____' away from anything.

I've said it before I'll briefly say it again. If we were to somehow grab Marcus Camby he still can't do anything to stop Crawful from chucking and not playing defense. He can't do anything to prevent Jeffries from sucking.

Our players are SO flawed that no addition can cover for their flaws. This is why the team sucks.

I hope to god we don't make some stupid panic trade that gets us yet ANOTHER Crawful, McCurry, Z-Brick, Q-Brick, Stephraud SobbingBury, Ared Effries, etc.

Has ANYTHING Isiah done improve us? AT ALL? No. So why expect another move to FINALLY be the one that does it?

It wont. NO TEAM is taking our lesser players and giving us a better player that gives us a chance to win.

Know how I know this? Cause every ****ing Isiah trade has supposedly gotten us the better player - but - the team gets seemingly WORSE each move he does!

Tim Thomas, Jalen Rose, Steve Francis, Vin Baker... I mean, this franchise has to wake up and kick Isiah to the curb and NOT allow any trades!

Do people REALLY think this 6-15 team is a trade away from going 15-6 over the next 21!?

I like Kwame better than Curry but I am not sure if Isiah is at that point where he thinks he should cut his losses with Curry. I thought the Zach trade was good but I am beginning to see the light that they have the same polarity and will never come together on the bball floor. One has to go and stick DLee at the 4 spot.

I like the Zach/Nate trade proposal to Seattle Wally/West and 1st round pick. This will help E-Titties with his game in that he will get a rebounder(Dlee) and a shooter(Wally) in the lineup with him.

Isiah doesn't need to do any trades. He's put together a great bunch of guys. He likes the team he has now. It is a much better than we had under Layden. It's just that Larry Brown set us back a year, and then we had injuries.

Isiah just needs to wait for the dust to settle. That's the key. Once the dust settles he can right the ship and get the team back on track.

We can no longer just grab random players thinking that the next guy will turn us around. The job is to aim all our resources at finding superstars. If that means playing the young guys to get a high draft pick, so be it. If that means shedding contracts for draft picks, so be it. In the short term we can fill our squad with hard nosed players only. We should have done this teh day we traded Patrick.
