The biggest problem I think with the Knicks this year offensively is outside shooting...Team are collapsing in on Curry and Zack and daring our guards to shoot the ball...Thats why we see so many turnovers on passes to the posts...I really don't think it's Curry, it's the way the Knicks are being played this year...Curry still has a high field goal percentage but isn't getting the touches...
with those 2 bigs, there's not a good amount of spacing out there. curry can really only function in one role, to get the ball everytime down the court and try to score from deep.
the addition of zach totally took away all of the mental stability and approach curry had to his role. now he's pressing. and what's being thoroughly exposed is that without the touches, he adds nothing to the team.
zach is a way better player but his addition hurt curry's development. now, we could've still made the zach deal, but we have to trade eddy asap before this gets really bad...and if they play like this, there could be a blowup between eddy and zach.
