It sure seems that way..........

December 10, 2007 -- Malik Rose has asked Isiah Thomas to keep him on the inactive list while requesting the club look to deal him if playing him is not in its plans.

Thomas is using the Knicks' open active roster spot to showcase rookie Wilson Chandler, who played the fourth quarter Saturday. Chandler's contract is eligible to be traded on Dec. 15 - the date the contracts of all first-round picks and free-agent signees can be moved.

Rose was inactive for the first time Saturday, with Chandler dressing and playing just over two minutes in the 105-77 loss to the Sixers. Rose said Thomas thought it was a good idea that he sit because he'd like to have Chandler active as well.

Malik Rose should not get his wish. Almost certainly nothing good will come of dealing him, so just leave him inactive if you're not gonna buy him out,

Where was it that Penny and Steve Francis hung out when they weren't wanted here? San Antonio. Go hang out in San Antonio. You liked it better there anyway.

Can anyone blame Malik? Would you want to play on this group of misfits?

As far as trading, nah. Just waive him. Let him go where he wants. We owe him that.

Who cares?
You can send all Knicks players home and get D-league players for 15-days contracts.
The team will be much better. At least it will be something refreshing...

I was thinking that they could make a more entertaining product by having the Knicks dancers play. And by play, I think I mean mud wrestle.

You know the team is a mess when Malik Rose wants out.

To tell you the truth, I like him better than David Lee off the bench. Malik plays good defense. He can play, just don't want to see him featured on offense......with Zach around Malik makes sense to be the back up.

David Lee represents the best chance to upgrade the roster without blowing up the team.........unless the idea is to blow up the team, lol.

Owe him what? He gets a good paycheck, more than he deserves. We don't owe him anything.

lol, you guys go so crazy over Malik Rose, yet he barely plays and hardly affects how the team loses or on once in a year or 2, wins a game. It's just about everyone else that we should be going bonkers about.

Anyone read the showcasing Wilson Chandler part and get a kick out of it?

By the time Malik sees the court we are already down 10-20 points. Not sure why anyone would be upset with or even care about his play on the court.
I just hope that people will like me

Rose should be inactive. IT needs to give Morris and Chandler some PT. If IT trades Chandler it damn well better be for a complete SF and the only one that I know that is out there is Artest, which I think will be like pouring gas on a fire.

They should pay Malik extra to leave. He's had to endure the wost climate of basketball IN NBA HISTORY.

We put on a leader on a group of unleadable misfits. Yes, we owe him something. We basically threw his career down the drain. He was a respected role player and locker room leader before he was traded to the Knicks.

I feel sorry for Malik. He came from current NBA heaven, the Spurs, to the worst franchise in sports, the Knicks.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Why feel sorry for him? His skills have eroded enormously and the Spurs purposely tried to dump him and his enormously bloated contract. If he didn't end up here, he'd be in some other purgatory or out of the league altogether.

I think Malik is going to be an awesome coach after he hangs it up (which is probably going to be in the near future).
