If your team just decides to not play a sport and spits on you, the rest of the fans, the media and it's own employees(ers) then why should one wanna root for that despicable team?

Maybe I'm overreacting, and I really prolly wont switch to another team, what how much more can we the fans take of this? It looks like no change is to come!

the knicks are giving all their fans a reason to not cheer this team anymore.

this is worse than layden. this is worse than the hawks.

The sad part is I'm not kidding. I just don't think the team playing in the garden is worth my attention. I refuse to call them the Knicks from this point on. They aren't even a team! They're just a product selling tickets and things are going nowhere.

I vow not to call this product the Knicks anymore, until change is being made and positive results come from it. These people within' the product don't be deserved to be mentioned in the same company as Ewing, Houston, Sprewell, LJ, Oakley, Ward, Starks, Mason, Harper, Jackson, X-Man, King, Frazier, Reed, DeBuschere, Bradley, Barnet, Gallitin, Monroe and for that matter, even Rory Sparrow and Trent Tucker!

This is much worse than simply being a fan of a bad team.

The owner is an idiot and completely clueless. I honestly don't even think he cares about winning. Only about being proven right about Isiah, the way he mistakenly thinks he was right about Glen Sather.

The Garden president is a kiss ass whose only concern is keeping his high paying, high profile job.

The Team President, GM and head coach is an arrogant, classless and obnoxious piece of ****. He doesn't know what he's doing in any of his jobs which only compounds the problem.

The players don't care anymore and refuse to give 100% effort. I honestly think the majority of them don't want to be here. There is no accountability for them to do any better.

Add it up and it's the biggest joke in professional sports. How could anybody continue to be a fan of this garbage? You'd be a fool not to switch teams.

Yes, you're allowed to switch teams. Some will call you a traitor or whatever, but so what? We're not talking about a country here. It's a basketall team.

I watch basketball for entertainment. This is no longer entertaining. It's fascinating in kind of a sick way, but not entertaining.

I'm thinking of just taking some time off. Maybe after a few weeks or months Dolan and Isiah will go away and I can follow the team with some hope. Or maybe I'll just find something else to do with my time.

Meanwhile, I won't be boosting MSG's ratings.

The Knicks are putting an inferior quality of NBA(if you want to call it that) basketball on the court every night. So whats the point with no end in sight?

I think reading about Dolan and Isiah yukking it up after losing to the Sixers twice might have pushed me over the edge.

I wish it were that easy to just switch teams. Its like ripping my heart out of my chest. I'm also a life long Jets fan so maybe I just love being tortured.

this is what's gonna happen...isiah will survive the season. then we will sell the draft pick as hope for the future. tickets will be sold.

the garden will always be filled as long as we either make a big trade or draft high in the lottery.

hence, dolan has no reason to change.

just DVR it & skip through the bad parts. of course that means you'll end up watching the commercials but hey, some of those commercials are pretty funny.

I think he meant the Clippers pre Sam Cassell. Regardless, we're in that category, b/c at least then, the Clippers had a theme. Collect young talent and put them on display so other teams can grab them.

We're not putting anything on the court right now, and NOBODY wants our guys.

So who should I pick?

I'm still a Knick fan first, but I "semi-root" for the Celtics since I live near Mass and since they have one of my favorite players ever (who I have a lot of sympathy for) in KG. I wish a second team would come to NY. If the Knicks continue to suck as long as Dolan is in charge, like I suspect, then eventually there's gonna be a big enough market of desperate NY fans that I think another NBA team would come to the state. Maybe it will be the Nets or maybe it will be a new team.
