In the irony of ironies, I'd trade him for a cheeseburger. So, yes, I'd do that deal... especially because the Knicks could use a PG. I do think TJ Ford is more attainable for injury reasons.

Having said that, I doubt they'd want Curry. He is pretty much the exact opposite of the rest of the Raptors... and that wasn't meant as compliment.

Curry is almost untradeable adding this to the irony considering we gave up 4 draft picks for him.

I proposed this exact trade about 3 weeks back and was told there was no way Toronto wanted Curry.

Sam Mitchell would be in Curry's Cakes all day everyday and there's just no way that would work. Toronto doesn't want to jeopardize there future cap situation either by making such a trade. If such a trade were to go down Stern would fine Toronto heavily for agreeing to it.

Dallas should be a option for curry- they're not playing well- at least on the defensive end where Currry does not help- but I would think Dallas would love to have a low post threat like Curry- and Curry & Dirk could co exist.

Curry's offensive weaknesses- inability to pass, etc- would be minimized- in fact, I bet just about everyone on Dallas can make an entry pass- and Curry would develop better passing abilities on that team.

I think most GM's will overlook his current slump- they'll attribute it to not meshing with Zach.

But still, I don't know that we would get half of what we gave p for him.

What a BS trade. Toronto has its center Bargnani and they have their Pf. What good would a Curry trade do them. You want Calderon start with this year number one pick.

Put it to rest guys.

Eddy, Steph, zack, Craf, JJ, JJ1, Q, Rose, Jones, Nate are not tradeable assets.
I don't think anybody, and I mean ANYBODY in NBA want any peace of this group, unless dumping salary or even bigger crap on us.
So let them play in NY to the end of whatever will end first.

Teams want Eddy. There is always a market for a 57% shooter. No matter what you guys think of Curry he is a decent big man in a big man depleted league. Problem is you guys want more from him and feel let down when he isn't getting 24 points a night you guys still have visiopns of Ewing dancing in your heads people need to realize he isn't Ewing and never will be. Take what you can get a decent big man and thats it.

If we trade Curry, who will play center for the Knicks...Zach is 6' 7", maybe 6' 8"..maybe...Lee is taller than Zach..

Curry can be traded. That is some hateriffic stuff to suggest that he cannot.

He is still a young player who is automatic in the post and has been improving on D. The Knicks are pairing him with another player that struggles on D and is a magnet for the ball on offense. That seems like its not working so far.

Just because it hasn't worked in the first 15 games for the Knicks doesn't mean Curry has no value.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I think the trade is very good, and I think is fair for both teams, althought Bosh+Curry may be the same than Randolph+Curry. I hope Toronto has not seen many Knicks games.

If we keep Eddy, who will play center? (not be *listed as* a center but actually *play* like a center)

No way a team gives up a very good player and a 1st rounder for Eddy. The same reasons you're looking to trade him for those two things are the same reasons a team would never give them up for Eddy. I'd settle for either one of the two.

Bonn- we'll get nate to play center- he is a better rebounder than curry and more effective at blocking shots.

don't get caught up in height.

zach is a fine center- and we got morris still on the roster. and big james!

this isn't a trade about giving up on curry- its about acknowledging that the zach curry pairing isn't going to work & trading one for help elsewhere.

and though curry does one thing well, we've got too many holes on this roster to overcome his complete inability to rebound, play defense and pass the ball.

zach can at least board, pass and try on defense.

Ironically enough, if Jerome could manage to stay on the court for 30 mins a game, he might be just adequate next to Zach. He could be the intimidation factor in the paint that we so sorely need.
Can't the fat **** just get into shape? I mean this is year three!

I'm definitely not getting caught up in height. I've argued for a long time that Curry is not a real center even though he's 6'11". If anything, Holfresh is caught up on height

Me knowing Sam Mitchell like I do hearing his interviews on the fan 590 in toronto, he would NOT welcome that trade because eddy doesn't play defense or rebound. Toronto is in the same boat as the knicks in wanting a shotbloker/ rebounder on their roster at Center.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
