Posted by nyk4ever:Posted by TrueBlue:Posted by nyk4ever: Actually I checked again and the date is correct I read it incorrectly. They show they day/month/yr instead of month/day/yr and the article has direct quotes from him...... http://esporte.uol.com.br/basquete/ultimas/2007/12/04/ult4356u1450.jhtm [Edited by - TrueBlue on 12-04-2007 09:47 AM] LMFAO @ the Bio http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephon_Marbury

$17.4mil isn't that much it's gotta be frontloaded otherwise Cleveland matches just from the pure standpoint you could deal him on that kind of contract if they don't want to keep him in the fold. Or maybe not since 1/5 of the season is already gone. I guess you could look at this as a 3yr/$19mil contract which is close to what Darko received.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- In need of a big man, the Charlotte Bobcats reached agreement Tuesday on a three-year offer sheet with Cleveland restricted free agent Anderson Varejao, giving the Cavaliers a week to match the deal or lose him. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3141032 [Edited by - TrueBlue on 12-04-2007 10:52 AM] LMFAO @ the Bio http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephon_Marbury

Varejo was an unsigned FA? I just assumed he was still with the Cavs. We should have beaten that offer.
