If someone told you that if the Knicks were to lose their next game that Isiah would be fired - would you actually root for them to lose the game? I've never rooted for my team to lose, but, if someone approached me with that question I think I'd have to say yes.
Yes, To get Isiah out of here I would root for them to lose.
No, I can't root against my team no matter what.
No, I like Isiah and I see his vision this is just a bump in the road.

I was behind the Celtics bench. Couldn't hear much beyond KG and Paul Pierce. They really weren't talking a lot in the huddles. They were drinking water, Doc would diagram a play(couldn't hear him) and then they would all just sit there. Like they were bored. You could hear KG yelling out things like:

"Championship teams don't let up"
"Don't start taking it easy"
"Killer instinct yall"
"Give it to Scags"(not sure who scags is. Scalabrini maybe?)

Nothing earth shattering. The only huddle that stood out for me was somewhere late in the game there was a timeout. The Celtic bench was giggling, rolling their eyes, looking down at the Knicks bench, giving each other incredulous looks. I was so angry at the Knicks at that point.

I was trying to watch the Knicks bench but it was a tough angle. But the body language on the court was horrendous. There was one play where Marbs made a nice move and made a no look pass to I think Curry. It was a bad pass, but fine, get your arses up court. Curry just put his head down and started jogging. Marbs did the same. Lee, gave a frustrated shrug of the shoulders like a 5 year old would do and then jogged up court. It was really embarrassing.

it was late in the 4th quarter (the camera was centered on the play but you could see the knicks bench in the corner of the screen - and i saw something very telling - which you could say sums up the frustrations of alot of people on this board and knicks fans in general...marbury had his signature towel over his head, but his face was turned to his right towards curry who was slouched back sitting in his chair - marbury was giggling with him for about 5 seconds about something they both thought was funny. now, i ask you, you are down 50 points (they were down 52 at that point i believe), do you really have anything to laugh about ESPECIALLY considering you were on national tv and the cameras were going to be on you.

that sums up our team.

Nobody likes to get embarrassed. But the fact that they came out, and literally gave no attempt at all shows that maybe things like this don't upset them all that much.

I was just going to comment on Marbury laughing underneath his towels. He did it I think on a play Scalabrine converted on us. I seriously think the team is trying to get I SAY UGH fired.

That's so unfair.

Don't make me resort to having multiple screennames. I'm better than that.

BTW, can I put up the "Official Isiah is Fired!" thread now? Save us some time and make sure I don't miss it.

patience isles - you may be "bumping it" for a while before it actually happens - not that he doesnt deserve it, but my bet is that Jimmy D will not be able to deal with zeek and company until after the lawsuit appeal is over.

We may all need to head over to Bip's and take turns vomiting on the cat.

I'm sure Mrs. Bip wouldn't mind. Right

I've waited 4 years for this. I'm getting really anxious since I can finally see the finish line.

That's nothing. Marbury's sister waited forever.

That took a long time. Fire Layden was up for like 2-3 seasons before he finally got canned.

Only another blowout will be meaningful to Isiah's job. And even then ... there's the appeal.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
