AAAALLLLLLLL Summer long, we've been hearing about how Curry is developing this jumpshot of his and how he's gonna become a better all around offensive player, and also how he's just in spectacular shape b/c he's working out so much. Then training camp comes and then pre season, and WE see how bad of shape he's in.

His definition of working out is shooting jump shots. Yet the thing I don't get is this. We go and get Zach to play this high/low post game. Curry plays down low Zach shoots mid range shots. Yet, all Summer long, Curry is working on his jumper. Now pre season AND the season rolls around, and I can count on my left hand how many times I've seen Eddie Curry actually take a jump shot.

Now Eddie is out of shape b/c he was commited to taking jump shots and not actually getting in shape and we have a big man who's hogging all the jump shots anyway. Maybe I'm not the wisest of men, but I don't get anything that goes on with this team.

there's also zach saying the team needs to learn to adapt to him, yet he didn't bother to show up and play with them over the summer.

statistically, eddy and zach have done much better than i expected. eddy has shown flashes of doing more aside from scoring. but i can't see this being a long term pairing.

Eddie always shows flashes, but even last game when Eddie had a couple of blocks, he was bad defensively. He and Zach sat down with Isiah's popcorn and a doublethick milkshake and watched our guards get blown by time and time again.

Be patient, man. It's factorial.

Speaking of it being factorial, does that mean that Marbury's dimes are factorial?

If so, Marbs should get:

82! dimes this season = 4.7536433370128435e+122 dimes = new NBA record

His assists won't be anywhere close, though, since he promised only 2-3 a game.

No lie, In the 9th grade I walked out of math class because the teacher kept using letters in math equations. I honestly thought it was an elaborate practical joke

If you can develop a jump shot in one off season then everyone would be three point shooters...

No not necessarily because there are excellent midrange shooters who are crappy 3pt shooters and vice versa.

point being? If he's not gonna take jump shots, what's the point in dedicating an entire off season working on your jumpshot, especially when we have another post player taking the jumpshots. He should have been spending his off season doing cardio, cardio, cardio, cardio and dieting. Maybe lifting some weights.

He should always be doing cardio...It should be a lifestyle thing with him because of his body type...My point was that it will take some time to develop a jumper...I remember it taking several years for Oakley to learn to hit in game jumpers...Those guys hit those shots in practice but in game it's different...From what I hear, Curry is a 80-90 percent free throw shooter in practice, but we all know it's much worse than that in game...Lee thought he improved his jumper in the off season but it's just tougher in game...

Same goes with Lee, but at least Lee is in shape and gives it his hardest 100% of the time, even if he's 10,000 leagues below the surface of Eddie's sea of talent. I DON'T think Curry made a commitment to doing that though, in terms of cardio, b/c he said it himself. A reporter asked him what he did in the Summer, and he said he was working out. The reporter asked how so, and Eddie said mainly shooting jump shots and lifting some weights.

And based on how he plays during the games, it sure as in heck doesn't look like he did much cardio.

I'm really impressed with Lee's improved free throw shooting...He has also added some low post moves...I think they need to run some plays through him in the posts as well...
