Jackson talking to Buss about New York
Phil Jackson, it seems, is confused. The Lakers coach has a two-year, $20 million extension waiting for him with the Lakers but he also is watching the implosion of the Knicks happen 3,000 miles away and seems to be thinking he wouldn’t mind running that show. Guy likes challenges, right? He’s apparently going to talk to Lakers owner Jerry Buss about his situation. He’s not resigning, mind you, just considering his options, it appears. His self-imposed Thanksgiving deadline to figure out whether he wanted to stay with L.A. has obviously passed and it’s thought that has everything to do with the situation in New York. He must want to renegotiate his contract higher, like all those other times. No way he actually wants to come to New York.

Maybe the triangle is exactly what these retards need. The triangle requires the players to constantly know where they are supposed to be.

Anyway, I don't want Phil and I don't like the triangle. Its a boring system but these guys need to play that way cuz they suck.

do you think that both Jackson and Mullin are gunning for Knicks jobs or just renegotiating their own current jobs. LOL.

I'm sure its a bargaining ploy, but I don't doubt that some part of Phil is strangely intrigued with this situation.

BTW, the real article says Jackson is not likely to leave the Lakers.

These news summary things are dangerous about taking things out of context.

Marbury running the triangle? Craw? Eddie? We don't have the pieces for that system. It works, but you need the RIGHT kind of player.

With the kNicks.....

Kobe, Eddy (or Zack, or Lee), Mardy (or nate, or whatever)
Why not?

Phil's probably contemplating life w/o Kobe & not liking the thought of it... i wouldn't be surprised to see both those guys on the Knicks next year.

Why can't Cuban and Dolan just trade franchises? The whole thing... networks, arenas, all of it.

MSG in its current state is probably worth a little more than the Mavs.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Classic, when I read this post this was the first thing I thought about. Phil has fooled the Knicks fans once to much.
