We can add suckbury, and Fred Jones, both in their last years, for Yao & maybe Rafer Alston, who are signed for another three years at 4.9 mil. and 16 mil. a year? The Rockets aren't really doing very good themselves. The contracts are about right and if we can pitch this to Yao, via Houston, there might be interests. Yao hasn't developed beyound expectations there, they get two expirings from us and we get a giant, in the middle to up our defense. I think Yao can be a star in NY. This is one of my 'rare' trade scenarios. What do you think? Can we do it?
I'll never trust this' team again.

Funny joke.

It could happen. The fact that things still' haven't turned around there, and they have T-Mac on that team? Someones going to start getting tired of it soon. I mean who'd of ever thought someone like Kobe wouldv'e been on the market there for a second? Could happen.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Funny joke.

Was it funny when Garnette finally got to go to Boston? Was it funny when Shaq finally got to go to L.A. and then Miami? The funny joke is' Knick fans don't believe we can have anything of real value. Everyone else is doing it, except us. And this' is NY. That's the real joke.
I'll never trust this' team again.

we can realistically target Yao... as soon as he goes down to career threatening microfracture knee surgery.

Isiah's not only trained the owner to be an idiot, but he's trained the fan to look no further than the greatness that is on the floor right now.
I'll never trust this' team again.

there's a lot of us here that refuse to settle for the pathetic product this team continues to put out on the floor year after year... as soon as we see a real plan in place that puts us on the road toward longterm success, u'll start seeing a lot more optimism around these parts... nothing for most fans to do now but to accept the fact that this team is a pathetic excuse for an NBA franchise & hope for better things to come.

Yao is the top center (or true center at least) in the game right now and he is in his prime. Even if the Rockets hated Yao and wanted to deal him, do you really think they would deal him for Marbury?

You do realize that they could get Kobe easily for him?

But you are telling me that they would much rather have Stephon Marbury and Fred Jones?

Please, this would be nothing like the Garnett or Shaq situations.

Expiring contracts is the key. And the point of the Garnett & Shaq scenario is 'is Yao thinking about wanting out'? It's damn worth a try, right? This is what I mean. Some fans are trained to think we can't have anything. I got the same **** over kobe to. Better check your belief system.

the reason we have a shot at Kobe is because he controls his destiny & wants desperately to be traded out of LA... NY is a possible candidate because the Lakers have very limited options available to them... Yao is not a possibility for us in any way, shape or form unless he goes down to a bad injury... he's happy in Houston & has built up a huge fanbase there... he also doesn't have a no trade clause like Kobe does, which means that if HOU ever does decide to trade him, they'll have way more better options than trading him to the Knicks.

First off, Yao never said he was unhappy in Houston and I don't he ever will be.

Second, Yao is still in his prime. And he's with T-Mac. He ain't coming to this hellhole of all places for the better.

Third, you think all it takes to get great players is expiring contracts? Damn, I must be behind. I thought it took great young players and high draft picks? I must have forgot.

Fourth, don't drink the Laysiah Kool-Aid too much or you may post more of these ridiculous ideas.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Hey listen pin head! If Yao where here in NY, on this team, this team would no longer be a hell hole! I mean what the hell are you thinking? I suppose it would be a hell hole if he and Kobe where here at the same time, huh? You have been totally brainwashed. Think about that. You've been trained to be a ****'n 'LOSER'!!!!! Don't blame me for that!
I'll never trust this' team again.

We again are talking about one player, OK one star.
But is it what makes the team great? The lonely guy who can play?
It makes the team miserable place for him, and makes the star fall.
I don't want ANY NBA star to suffer because of people like Dolan, Isiah, and Step who made this team a joke
There are enough people including players are suffering already. Is it enough?

I will never take you seriously again. Yao is untouchable as they come. Rockets are loving the fact that he brings the China market to them.
