as Per Lawerence:
Taking it a step further, the Sixers are open to fielding offers for Andre Miller (Cleveland and Miami are seen as his prime suitors) and plan to give Lou Williams more minutes at the point. In the meantime, Andre Iguodala, who didn't get the contract extension he was looking for, is taking more shots and turning the ball over more than anyone on the team, and complaining more, too. "His body language is worse than Iverson's ever was," reports one teammate.

A resigned Iggy and Dalembert for Curry, Balkman or Chandler, and Crawford?

philly has major cap room next summer.

i will stick to my guns and say they go after arenas and create iverson/lb 2001 sixers with arenas as their centerpiece.

For us it's not a bad trade, but why would philly do it?

With LB still on Philly I don't think any deal with them is likely. But if I'm the Knicks I look into the availability of Andre Miller.

Iggy would be an outstanding 2-way player to pick up and anyone on our roster should be available in an offer for him.

Can the knicks and philly just combine rosters?

Knicks could use iggy, korver, dalembert and miller. Not sure what philly would want from the knicks. Curry sticks out though.

If there is a dude to trade david lee for, I think iggy is that dude.

Anyway......athleticly skilled swing man....we gotsta get it we gots gotsta get it.

would Marbury for Andre Miller & Dalembert make any sense to the sixers from the perspective of freeing up cap room off Dalembert's deal?

I thought that perhaps Dalembert had not quite lived up to that contract they gave him.

Perhaps we toss in Balkman?

maybe not...

Dalembert, Korver, Andre Miller would all be nice. I just think that with LB over there there's no chance of doing anything with Phily.

I'd give up the entire team for Iggy but there is no way in hell they'll trade a guy that is a two-way, All-Star level talent, that is also a young high flier.

Essentially, I'd pay money to watch Iggy. I bet if you asked their fans, he's the only reason they go to Sixers games. Iggy + a lotto pick + (dj's idea of) Arenas = a very, very good team.

I'd target Kyle Korver and Andre Miller because they'd be attainable and fit two primary needs for the Knicks.

As I think of it- JJ2, Collins & Balkman were all pretty much LB kind of players- what about those three for Iggy?

I think we'd have to include Lee and our lottery pick this year to have a shot at Iggy (and that depends on where our pick is).

I agree with this completely, but I wouldn't make that trade.

Lee + chance(Rose, Mayo, Beasley, Budinger, Green, Gordon, Koufos, etc.) > AI2

AI2 is FAR better than Lee, but there is some upside there. If the Knicks get Rose, Lee will look like he did in the Rookie/Sophomore Game in an offense built around motion and the pick and roll. While I'd love to have AI2, I wouldn't make that deal.

All the talk of needing Korver and Dalembert and Miller is true, BUT those guys are all complimentary players. We talk about needing a cornerstone player. Iggy could be that guy. Dalembert would fit great next to Zach.

Korver, Dalembert and even Miller are the guys you get to compliment a star. And the best way to build a team around a star is to get the star FIRST and then get the complimentary players.

I would definitely include Lee in a package like this because if we get Dalembert and Iggy there really is no place for Lee long term here. I doubt Lee would stick around here to be a career sixth man, honestly.

Resign Iggy to a 15ish mil per contract and take on Dalembert and you ship out Curry, Lee and Crawford(or Q) and Balkman or Chandler(preferably Balk)

Iggy(15 mil)
Dalembert(12 mil)
Future top 10 protected pick

for

Curry(9 mil)
Crawford(8 mil)
Lee(1 mil)
Jones(3.5 mil)
Balkman(1.5 mil)

We would have

Dalembert
Zach
Chandler or Q
Iggy
Collins or Steph

I think I agree, although it depends on where we're picking. I don't think I'd trade Lee and a top 10 pick for Iggy.

LB knows full well who we have on this team... i can only see LB being interested in 3 players we currently have (D Lee, Balkman & Mardy), & none of them would be enough to get a guy like Iggy... Dre Miller maybe... if u offered up Balk or Lee, Mardy & Malik as a filler for him, it might at least peak their interest.

Larry had Craw playing some great ball. Maybe he'd be interested in him? I'd do Crawford, Lee, Balkman for Iggy and some filler(Evans?)

i can see LB taking a shot on Jamal, but i think they could get a legitimate star calibre player for Iggy if they ever decided to trade him.
