Isiah MUST go. I can't really blame the pleyers on the team (except for Marbury who left the team and his relationship with Isiah is a major contributor to the toxic state of this team). They are so damn sorry looking right now. Why should they have hope? Why should they play for a guy who knowingly defied them? They are NOT responsible for what happened this summer. And I truly believe they were looking forward to this season. Nate really worked at trying to be a better PG, Jamal put on the weight for once in his career, Zach was a very welcome addition, Balkman even got a tatoo to "hustle harder." What I am trying to say is that the team was looking forward to a new begininning.

Before the season, they all just wanted to win some games. Get to the playoffs. There was a positive, breath of fresh air. And you saw it through the first three games. And then the BS came and the team is looking real bad (not just their play, but their attitude.) I am pretty sure this latest fiasco was a real big road bump. Again, national media covering the bizarre Marbury & Isiah rift. All of their names and the team's name being dragged through the mud. This latest distraction caused by Isiah and Marbury was the last straw. Its too much already and its unfair to the team. This has nothing to do with the players on the court...it has to do with an INCESTUOUS relationship between Isiah and Stephon and its poisoning the team.

I am unsure why Isiah decided to start this crap with Marbury 5 games in to the season. I am usnure why Isiah asked for a team vote, one of which was unanimous, and went against the team. I am unsure why Isiah would knowingly jeopardize so many lockerroom relationships and create a personal rift with Marbury, when he is the one guy, when he is angry and upset, will become that cancer we all know.

Isiah need to either resign or be removed. We have TOO MANY games left...could you imagine another 74, yes 74 games, with this weighing...Isiah is too unstable, he is not doing a good job coaching on the court and his off-court issues with the trial and/or with Steph is going to kill this season.

I know these guys make a lot of money, but this is really unfair to them. They can't trust their coach, they can't trust a teammate who is a very volatile individual, their confidence is shot and it seems that this dark cloud just won't go away.

When they play on Tuesday (and King1, GOD help Isiah if he starts Marbury because aside from the fact Isiah is going to be met by the Garden lynch mob, Stephon is going to be booed mercilessly, maybe every time he touches the ball), it is not going to be a pretty sight.

I think if Isiah is gone, they play better simply because that weight is off their back. Even Clyde said it "should be about basketball right now" but with Isiah around, its highly unlikely.

LA LA LALA LA LAAAA.

Yes Im drunk.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I agree with much of what you've said Queeniepop. While I'm not advocating that Isiah be fired on the plane ride back. I think if he can't get things sorted out in the last 6 games of Nov. Then he should be fired. I just don't think we need to blow up the team tho. I happen to think that aside from the PG situation, there are some good players on this team and there's too much season left to give up on them so early.

It's a tough situation but in the course of a season teams go thru bad stretches like this. Other teams are having similar issues. That doesn't mean the team can't or won't play better if given the right direction and a chance to get it together.

The thing is that just cuz we fire Isiah that doesn't guarantee the Dolan won't mess up things by hiring the wrong guy. What has he done that would give us confidence that he can make that call? He could find someone worse! I'm saying let's not be so eager to jump out of the frying pan into the fire, by betting on Dolan to fix this.

get Marbury and Isiah away from the team as quickly as possible, then take inventory of what's left. I've always maintained we'd never know what we had with Marbury on the team.

They may still stink, but at least we'd know that independent of the distraction of Marbury and his strange bedfellow.

NIX: Wake UP! WAKE UP! The situation needs to END NOW.

I am not saying that we should blow the team up...I am saying that Isiah needs to go!

You see it in the players' faces, many of those you like and may want to have as part of the future. Its TOO MUCH and its UNFAIR.

Let me ask you...how would you feel if your coach and teammate betrayed you because of their own personal issues...ISIAH IS DOING AN ABSOLTELY DEPLORABLE AND DISGUSTING JOB AT COACHING. He is bad for the team, bad for their mental health, bad for the organization. The DAMAGE is done.

Let me ask you, NIXLUVA, do you go to games at MSG? If so, how often? When was the last game? Are you from NY? DO you read the papers? Do you know the players? WHat do you really know about this team and Isiah that makes you so empathetic to him?? He is RUINING our team and KILLING the hope of not only the players, but every single fan that wants the Knicks to do well.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE KNICKS, "NIX-LUVA," you would be able to actually see that even the most loyal fans, who LUV the NIX, want Isiah and his little b-tch Marbury GONE.

I'm really not surprised, I've been saying Marbury was in bed with Isiah for years.

Not that there's anything wrong with that... but not between a player and GM.

I've told my story many times, but suffice it to say that i'm a fan since just after the glory days ended. I've been a fan since before Cable TV and live Postseason games. I now live in Georgia, so I don't go to the Garden anymore. I never miss a game on MSG and I go to Knick games down in the south.

The idea that Isiah needs to go, doesn't bother me. I've been here for an awful lot of coaches and he's no different to me than any other. I have no love or affinity for him beyond the fact that he's the current coach and until he's fired I want to see this team win. I'm not rooting for Isiah to win, but for the KNICKS to win. After 9 games i'm not anxious to just get rid of him cuz I don't see a successor ready to take over. It wouldn't be any better for the team to just throw some guy in there right now if he's not the right man for the job either. Before making such a drastic move, I want to be sure that this isn't just a glitch in the road that can happen to any team at anytime during a season. I've been successful in my life by not being given to rash decisions and I think that this has to be thought out and not done in a rush to please fans. We'll know soon enough if he should go or not. Giving him the rest of the month isn't too long.

Further I don't trust Dolan. I trust him even less if he has to make a rush decision based on media and fan pressure. The idea isn't to just fire Isiah with no plan. The idea is to get someone who can do a better job if that's what is necessary, so what's the rush?

I think Isiah just needs a little more time. Let them team get over the Marbury incident. Let Zach get his head straight. Let all the injured players heal completely. Then when the conditions are absolutely perfect for us, we can then start to judge our team

I just hope that people will like me

I don't think Dolan can let Isiah go yet because he doesn't have his replacement. It takes time to recruit, interview candidates, and offer someone a job. Maybe Dolan's gotten the ball rolling, but it'll take a while before someone else can come in.

I agree. Mr. Eyebrows needs to get fired. How can anyone respect this guy when he let's Marbury do whatever he feels like? Isiah has been in panic mode ever since that Heat game. I feel he is the one that has been losing games. Last night he played 11 players. He is throwing players into the lineup left and right with no game plan. Plus the players do not believe in him. What happened to all these secret plays he was suppose to have? Now his threats do not even hold water when Marbury is able to get massages, break plays, and call Isiah out. Really I think he is confusing the players with his Jekyll and Hyde act. Isiah wants to be buddy buddy with the team. Now all of a sudden he wants to be tough with everyone except AWOLbury.

To top it off he is playing every scrub possible yet Morris and Chandler can not get playing time? But Jeffries and Malik can?

I think if Isiah get's fired it will be at the end of the year. I think all the recent games the Knicks could have one if Isiah coached the game right except the Nuggets and Suns game.

With or without Isiah, this team still needs to be blown up. I love the dedication of the some of the players in the off season (Craw adding weight, Nate working on his game etc) but in the immortal words of Denny Green "The Knicks are what we thought they were!"

Other than Zach, (and I'm not really a fan of his black-hole, offensive cohension killing game) this is a team full of role players who would all probably come off the bench on a real winning team.

Jamal is/was a sixth man. Q is done. Curry can excell only in the perfect situation. Steph is done as an elite player in this league. Balk is a change of energy role player. Lee could start, but Zach is too good to go to the bech for him. And both are too small to play long stretches together.

The team is a mess. Start by axing Isiah, but dont stop there.
"Man, who knows with this team." Aguirre.
