This has apparently already been debunked by their brass, they don't want him and why would they. Seriously why would we even think that could be a possible destination when they just got rid of Randolph?

please say no to those guys unless we're also getting back a pick in the process... we don't need to be adding anymore payroll to this already horrendous cap situation unless we're getting back players that will make a significant positive impact... just BuyOutBury & be done with this mess.

There has been some speculation floated out there that the Blazers could become involved in helping the New York Knicks unload disgruntled Stephon Marbury in exchange for the bloated contracts of Darius Miles and Raef LaFrentz.
Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard chuckled at the idea on Thursday, saying he could bring up the "C-word" (culture) as a reason, but instead, he opted to comment on the current team.

Another source on the Blazers also chuckled at the notion of Marbury becoming a Blazer, saying the only way the Blazers would even look at taking on Marbury would be if the Knicks involved David Lee in the deal. And that is not going to happen. -- The Oregonian

it makes sense for them because they'd be freeing up huge cap space for the '09/'10 season... Miles is a headcase in his own right, so they're basically trading a numbskull for another numbskull & saving a lot of money in the process.

Blazers Won't Trade For Marbury

i just said it would be a moronic trade for the Knicks to do it... never said i thought it was gonna happen... from an economics point of view, it makes perfect sense for the Blazers to do it IMO... it's not like Miles does much to add to their "CULTURE" either... he's probably the closest idiot there is in this game to Marbury in my eyes... sorta makes sense that from a logic standpoint, those 2 would be traded for one another.

It's hard to move a player that's injured you realize this right? Miles has been injured for almost 3yrs now off and on. Trust me if they could move him they would and have tried.

Wow the Trailblazers will give Zach away but they would happily take Lee to their team shows you what they think of the great Zach

Forget that it lets you know what they think of Frye they already want to replace him with Lee.

I wouldn't "forget that"; I think it's quite revealing that they were desperate to get rid of Zach but are trying to get Lee.

Uhhhhhhhhh the Blazers have been trying to acquire Lee every since before the trade deadline of last yr. Frye has absolutely nothing to do with their interest in Lee. They tried to get Lee included in the Zach deal but we said no. Their interest in Lee hasn't waned as I'm sure is the same from other clubs.

So yeah let's "Forget That"
