DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I'm also leading the Ultimateknicks.com gamepicker despite missing the first game.

Sadly neither of these make me happy.

I'm second. Btw, props on the 8 points last night (I did the same).

coincidentally, David Lee's rebounds have gone down to 7.5 from the 10.4 he averaged last season... but it's great that Zach is leading the league in rebounds... i didn't realize that rebounding was 1 of our problems going into this season tho... maybe when Zach starts to block shots & play low post defense i'll change my mind about the idea of acquiring him.

When did Lee start to Block shot and play defense. The man can't even hit the broad side of a barn from 10 feet out. Zach so far is the best new the Knicks have to provide.

i agree that zach is the best news coming out of this season so far. whereas marbury left and abandon his team, a grief stricken randolph joined the team in la to help out as much as he can. that should be a story, not the circus that we run with a bunch of clowns running around.

D Lee was already a piece of this team & brought the rebounding that we needed & last time i checked he makes a helluva lot less in salary... what the hell was the point in bringing in a $61 million dollar player that rebounds & scores in the paint when we already had 2 players that addressed those needs here already? can someone tell me that cuz i haven't heard 1 logical argument to defend that question since the trade was made.

Thats good.

The bad news?

Zach is shooting 41%.. for a big man that is deplorable.
Zach is committing 3 turnovers a game.
Zach is averating .20 blocks per game.

Thank you. You hit the nail on the head. Zach is a true team player. In his time of sorrow he came to aid his teammates.

^ To be fair...

Most top big men are averaging more turnovers than him, or the same.

No one excepts him to block shots, but least he's bein predictable with his steals.

Love his heart, but dude needs a boot up the ass for that FG%.

You can't run a pick and roll with Lee its that simple his defense sucks worse than Randolphs and he can't shoot a jumper to save his life. Zach is providing double double a night and he is giving you more rebounds per game than any other player in the NBA. Get over it. We all like Lee's hustle but he can't sustain it for the entire game he can't put it together back to back games either. Zach atleast makes teams play him honest on the offensive end where as Lee they don't even waste to much time with him. You guys bring in salary and what not into your discussion but you forget they would have to pay Francis and Frye this year anyways. You guys won't be happy with anyone who puts on the orange and blue.

You're right. Since we've welcomed noted team cancers and bad teamates already and its worked so well, we should continue to go down this road, even after Isiah is fired.

VMart no doubt that Zach is more talented than Lee in basketball. I am willing to bet you if Lee is ever traded you will get more out of him than what Portland got for Zach. Winning teams will covet Lee and trade Zach. I know for a fact a couple of teams wanted to trade lottery picks for David this year and the Knicks declined. I know what other great players say to David and how they respect his game. Stats dont win basketball games and before his career is over Lee will become a player that helps teams win games.
