Rudy's averaging more points, assists, steals, and even blocks than Eddy. (And that's just one of the many possible picks we gave up for Eddy.)

Two different positions. Rudy Gat is more valuable than Eddy Curry would be a better title.

Who cares about Rudy Gay? He's not on my team and I fail to see the relevance. Eddy is a center and comparing him to Gay is just stupid. Let's see how things actually turn out with this team before we proclaim the trade a failure. It's so silly to get into the 20/20 hindsight stuff all the time. Let's see what happens with each team rather than focus on individual accomplishments. We've got a long way to go. Curry is 24 and I think this team will be more than fine if we continue to keep this group together and develop guys like Mardy, Balk & Chan to eventually take on bigger roles.

I know I'm bustin your balls here a little bit Nix, but didn't you say you would make many of the same decisions Isiah has made if you were in his position? Including trading for our 24 year old franchise fatty?

Theres no point even debating this, the fact is Isiah will be gone before the new year..the Knicks will come bcak from this trip 2-7 and will have a new coach.

Considering the Knicks sorely need a SF, I think it is more than fair to compare Eddy's worth to Gay's. If the Grizzlies put up a Curry for Gay swap, I'd take it and not think twice about it. When inept management makes moves trading away potential star players for overpaid mediocrity, its a problem.

Depends on which truck they're in.

Sadly, I have to say, based on AWOLbury's latest actions, the Knicks are actually more exciting than in recent years... which probably just means that it may be on the edge of imploding, and in this case, an implosion has short term humor and long term benefits.
