Is it just me, or does Curry have the worst reaction time in the nba?

I am just curious. He clearly is a great scorer when other teams don't double team him, and he doesn't have to pass out.

He only rebounds the ball, when it bounces to him.

Perhpaps, the better question, is whether Curry would even be in the nba if he did not go to college. Do you think the forces of competition would have made him a lower second round pick or not a pick at all. I mean all theses college players, play there heart out, afterall.

I don't think Curry really has a deep love for the game. He's big, he's talented. Some might even say quick. But he lacks a passion for basketball IMO.

Mental Midget.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Bobs, let me ask you this question. What player that currently plays in the nba has a slower reaction time than Curry?

I think bobs was refering to Curry, not you.

Yeah, I caught that, I was just attempting to spur a discussion.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I've written about this before. Reaction time reflects cognitive processing and probably can be improved only minimally if at all.

I agree.. One thing I've always wondered about Curry is why he rarely if never dunks it? There'll be plenty of opportunities a night he could easily dunk it, but instead he opts for a soft, timid lay-up

Your absolutely correct. That is why this shouldn't even be a topic on this board. Reaction time is completely inherent in the person. Eddy Curry is a great low post scorer but probably does not even belong in the nba. If this guy went to college he wouldn't have made it to the pros.

I agree. During the Denver game I was wondering how long before his teammates tire of taking up his defensive slack. Then he goes out and plays defense in the 4th quarter. No passion or 3 and half quarters then a sprinkling of defensive effort.

Matt:

Curry can't dunk the ball in traffic b/c he's overweight.

He physically doesn't have the lift. Shaq's been having the same problems this season...

C'mon bobs, curry is just plain stupid and we all know it. The idea of reaction time is nice, and he has a terrible reaction time, but he is dumb as hell as well.

^ Let's agree to meet halfway.

He's sort of dumb and sort of out of shape too.

For me, it was the interview on msg last season. He had played better defense for a game, and I believe it was al trautwig that asked him what changed. He said, "Oh, I like to mix it up." I have not been the same person since.
