Now there is a big part of me that is happy as hell he is on his way out.... but there's also a part that's a little dissapointed and sad that he never was able 2 turn his career around in NY it would have been a really nice story.

Steph was my fav player in the NBA before he came 2 the Knicks... and he quickly lost that title when I had 2 watch him every game unfortunately... but I guess I had a little dream of marbury holding a trophy with a knicks jersey on champainge flowin and I canthelp but wish it could have been....

The brooklyn boy turning it around and carrying us to the promise land...

Would have been nice....

But I know it would have never happened.

So long steph, hope you do well elseware.... (staring at my #3 authentic jersey that I baught as soon as it came out for way too much money with water in my eyes) lololol

I'll miss his quotes.

"He flexed a real hard juice card, I know that. So he definitely made me aware of what he can do. But that doesn’t scare me at all."

"I want to be a Knick. I want to die a Knick. If I ever was to be cremated, I want my ashes sprinkled on the top of the Garden."

"This is like a faloop right here."

"I know I'm used to being the excapegoat but damn..."

"I want to see the spit in your mouth."

"Its my better hoe"

“[My sister Stephanie’s] been praying for this day forever, and it finally happened yesterday when I kissed her, and I felt her body, and I felt her soul. I was delighted to be kissing her.”

"Yeah we got along, we played basketball together, we didn't go home and sleep in the same bed with each other, we played basketball."

"I’m going to average 10 points, 11-12 dimes, four assists …”

ditto...I thought he might have realized and changed, but he really thinks that a scoring point guard is the future and defense is for bench players.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

I am disappointed beyond belief. I am sad because I KNOW this could have been a good team. We kept seeing glimpses of it. And then I watch the Celtics as they storm through the NBA with their 6-0 record and think to myself the Knicks could beat them. But now we will never know.

...and then tonight we face the Suns.

So... I guess I will be crying myself to sleep tonight.

Same here. He was my favorite player before he came to the Knicks. I always use to tell my friends if Marbury ever came to the Knicks we would win a chip. Damn was I wrong. On the other hand, I think Zeke is finally making a statement showing that enough is enough the bull**** has to stop.

i was actually just thinking the same thing...I'm upset, but i am going to miss starbury...he has won some games for us.

But I like zeke moving towards building a team based on defense around 3 offensive players, one back court and 2 front court.

I'm down with hitching our wagon to Crawford, Curry and Zach.

The sooner we get to that trio, but better.

Fill in Collins, Balkman, Lee and Nate and I'm a fan of this crew.

Oh, and fred jones. ;)
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Aww you sweethearts are making me soft too

Remember guys, this is for the betterment of the team and the franchise. He has to go. He's what you call a true loser.

New York...a city of light and little mercy
A place of some confusion and yes, controversy
A great place but one you have to learn to handle
Once in the limelight, you could be part of a scandal
Hometown boy coming back to help revive the Knicks
All the time not growing up, needing to get his kicks
Now it's time to go and it's hard to grieve or pity
You were given the chance to be the king of this city
So goodbye Steph, glad you came, sorry you have to go
Maybe in you next city, you could be star of that show.

Trueblue, Isles... you win.

I'm sorry, you were right. I was wrong. I'm really sad.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

F dat. The season isn't over. We could easily be 4-1 right now. Let's not jump ship just yet.

After actually listening 2 isiah talk on the pregame I could see a slight cance of marbury returning and playing his best ball ever but its a slim chance......

Instead, our record will be 2-7 very soon my friend. This season is over. To me, Steph's and Isiah's dismissal will be equivalent to making it to the playoffs, if not better.

Steph has probably NEVER had a bigger supporter than me, but when you turn your back on the Knicks I have to say don't let the door hit you on the way out. I just want players who WANT to be here and WANT to do whatever it takes to win.

I had such high hopes that Steph could come here and be part of this teams resurgence. I don't know what will happen from here on but it's clear that he's never going to be able to achieve that goal. THIS was the year to get something done and somewhat repair his image and to me he blew it. HOW can he show his face at the Garden again after this? The fans will never accept him back and I can fully understand that.

those exact words were spoken by me & many others on this forum in years past... we then started to bash on the guy & we were accused of being Celtic fans, haters, racists, etc.... after a point u come to realize there is no hope for this knucklehead & we're so much better off without him... now maybe u realize why so many here criticize this guy so much... he's a selfish player, all about himself, a horrible influence on our young kids & a disgraceful representative of this franchise (other than his charitable donations).

What i will tell my kids is that the knicks brought in a lifetime loser to be the savior and it backfired. I will miss him as much as i miss scott layden.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

You wont have to miss Steph, you can trust his leadership will live on; and when it's time for Nate to return to the bench he too will go running home, or refuse to shoot, or take on the coach in the press. Steph wasn't all about himself, he was a leader, and a teacher too.

Gimme a break. The second this team got this lifetime loser it never got any better. Leader he cant even run an offense.

I disagree. If you don't think Marbury has led us into the mud you don't know leadership.
