Now this works, BARELY.. Under the ESPN Trade machine due to a trade exception the Nuggets have for Earl Boinkins...

Heres why the Knicks do it:

They get back 2 tough inside defenders, KMart can play backup center he is not getting big minutes right now anyways and we could use his toughness and shot blocking badly.. I dont know if anyone has watched any nuggets games with him in there but honestly he looks pretty explosive I dont see anything wrong with his knees at all... It might be worth the risk and extra salary...

Addition by Subtraction, we loose marbury, we gain a tough guy. Thats a win, period.

Denver does it because: They need a point guard, Marbury is a definite upgrade over Chucky Atkins. A lineup for Marbury, Iverson, Carmelo, Nene & Camby is pretty scary in all ways... The argument is that they already have enough ball hogs which i can understand but hey... You never know... They would also get a promising young big man and rid a TUN of salary which makes it more appealing for the nuggets.

Kenyon is looking pretty good, He wont need much minutes... ANd you dont give Hunter minutes. Martin its not like we are giving up anything really this is basically the only trade that i can conceive of actually happening involving Marbury I dont think there is another team that could or would take marbury

Come on. That's a hell of a jump isn't it? ATL can use a scoring PG. or at the very least a scoring guard. They also need to start to show some wins.

I doubt Steph goes to Boston.

He would make that team so much worse its not even funny. Rondo does exactly what they need from a PG (he plays D and gets others involved). Steph would be a horrible fit there.

There's got to be some team out there who needs a bad attitude on bad knees, who can't run an offense, can't finish layups, and wont play D. But who?

Walker cant be traded (who they want to dump)

But maybe Ratliff/Jaric for Marbury/Morris/Chandler/Balkman

Gotta give them something.. they want young players.
