He is proven he is young---he\'s been a good evaluator of talent and has a huge insight to international basketball. He has the cahones to trade an Antwan Jamison for the 4th pick[devin harris] in the draft and he tried to get Yi Jianlin this year. He also has experience with a huge payroll. The Mavericks have been good since he had the ability to spend more money. He is not going to cause problems like IT did with anucha.

I think he would be a good choice as well but isn't he currently the Mavs GM?

The KNicks could always make a power play for him and offer a lot of money, but I'd think that Mark Cuban would match any offer.

I thought you liked Eddy and liked the direction of the team.

As long as the team is #1 in commerce, Dolan doesn't need to do ****.

Any fin. hackers in here?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Are you kidding?? Do you really think a new GM can make a difference? I mean look how terrible Bryan Colangelo is doing in Toronto!!!

I don't see how we can know that. Has he ever met Anucha?

He sounds good, but how is he at undermining HOF coaches?

Why would you want a guy who might show some basketball sense, let players play based on merit, try to make a balanced team and won't sexually harass his coworkers? Let's call a spade a spade. This guy is no Isiah!

We lost the chance of getting Donnie when EWING AND VANDUMMY railroaded his daddy Don Nelson SR out of NY when he coached the knicks.

it will neva happen

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

You can keep Don Nelson. You won't win championships with him as your coach or GM. I can see how you guys would get enamoured with his playing style. But it won't win you a championship.

Everyone remembers Nelson's recent moves but do you remember the move that back fired on him when he pulled that draft day stunt. I do he trade Mitch Richmond for Billy Owens who never really materialized in the NBA.

I think if Isiah is on the way out there are better candidated to replace Isiah than Don Nelson

I don't know much about Donnie, but when Don (the dad) was coaching the Knicks, he benched John Starks to start the defenseless one - Hubert Davis.

You're talking about the father, briggs is talking about the son.
