It's starting to looking correct when LB wanted to get rid of most of these players regardless of how we did it.

We as fans should want to build for a chip, not just make the playoffs.

Our expectation level has fell so far that even the most zealest knicks fan are seeing the light.

Isiah plays a friendly game with this current roster, like he's their buddy.

These players don't need a friend, they need a disciplinarian to let them know it's a priveledge to be in the NBA.

The leaders on the team haven't won anything out side of Malik Rose.

Isiah did what corporate guys try and do, hire all their friends so they can keep their job security.

Well it backfired time to clean house and start from scratch, let the kids play before the nets move to brooklyn and steal the fan base.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Duh, LB is smart.

Isiah is dumb.

Both are stubborn.

Dolan chose his allegiance.

WOOPS!
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Please, don't we have enough problems this season without talking about LB. LB has hated most of his players his last 3 stops. The guy wanted to trade Chauncey Billups remember and he was the one that wanted Francis.

we aren't winning with this lame philosophy, stop being delusional.

It's time to blow it up, even if they win another game

It's true that he wanted to Francis, because he knew that by packaging Frye with Francis, the Knicks would be able to land Zach Randolph. (And Fred Jones. Of course. That goes without saying.)

Isiah has assembled alot of talent but he did it as a GM without a vision for a team on the court. His strategy as a GM was to acquire 'assets'. However, running a franchise like this has resulted in the firing of two hall of fame coaches because they were unable to be succesful with his players. His 34 win break through not withstanding, it is time to end the Isiah era as a gm and coach. Once he is gone he will not work for an nba team again. The Knicks need to become a respectable organization with a plan. This will not happen as long as Isiah has total control. Aside from Fred Jones, Jerome James, Marbury, and maybe Jeffries and Malik I like the players on the team. A new coach and GM would be the first step in improving this team. Once they are in place the roster could be evaluated and moves could be made to improve it.

I have no doubt that if Dolan had chosen LB over Isiah, the Knicks would be much further along. At the bare minimum, they would be playing much harder on a consistent basis.

Big C you're wrong about LB no matter what the 23 win season showed you. The guy did other things besides coach this team that wasn't right but his assessment, his vision, and requests fell on deaf ears. He saw what was up and tried a little sabatoging if you will but not without a purpose to expose. Probably not the way he should have done things wasn't professional about it and definitely tarnished his rep but he was right. He needed a leader, an ear, and support in I SAY UGH like fashion but never got it and now we're set back once again.

So now cuz we're 2-3 all of a sudden we all KNOW that this isn't going to work? COME ON!!!! I mean i've never seen such widespread panic and overreaction in my life. NEVER has the Knick forum been this fickle and easily scared. You guys are acting like you've never watched any BB before in your lives. You should know better than to be so reactionary to a 2 game losing streak or winning streak. It just doesn't make sense.

LB can't get hired right now and I wouldn't use him as any kind of judge about this teams prospects. What he said we already knew about the players. They can't defend! Gee he's a freaking genius for picking that up.

In this league LB knew that you need to play defense 1st, especially when you don't have a "SUPERSTAR" on your roster

Like I said in the game thread:

1) It isn't our record people get upset about. Nobody is getting ready to despair over a 2-3 record in and of itself. It is the way we lose the games.

2) Five games is enough for us to see the same problems the Knicks have had for years now. While this season may be early, this type of play is nothing new.

3) The Miami heat started off the season 0-5. They were losers of their last 18. They are playing without their star. And they didn't play a particularly good game. All reasons for this to be more troubling than any run-of-the-mill loss.

Isiah said tonight that he was relying on their defense. I guess not everybody knows that they can't defend. What a freaking moron for not picking that up.
