If you think Zach is the problem think again. If we did not get him this team might be 0-5.

So we'd still suck but at least we'd be getting a great lottery pick

isiah is too stupid to tank for oj mayo.

he probly thinks jamal crawford is kevin martin.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

If people like you were running teams in the NBA you'd have like 5 teams playing hard and all the rest tanking becuase they don't think they could win the championship.
Tanking is despicable.

great. so because we got him we'll probably end up going 38-44 this year & ending up with a crappy pick in the lottery & capped out for the next 3 years... that makes me feel so much better.

the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Derrick Rose is better. But would I take either over anyone on this roster? Yes. And I'll include Nicolas Batum, Chase Budinger and Roy Hibbert on that list too.

It shouldn't even be about tanking. We should be trying to balance the roster. Which is why we should be looking to trade Curry & Crawford to Seattle for Wally & Ridnour & a future pick or something. Follow up withn Q.Rich for Donyell Marshall.

Randolph/Morris/James
Lee/Marshall/Rose
Chandler/Balkman/Jefferies
Wally/Nate/Jones
Marbury/Ridnour/Collins

Buy out James & Rose. Next offseason Marbury, Wally, Rose, & Marshall's contracts all would have expired. Draft a good PG or Center with this yrs draft pick and we would be in very good shape for the future.

I'm sorry dude but going after Wally isn't going to help this team. Wally is a volume scorer and he's got a bloated contract, we need to be making moves for players with the exact opposite of those two attributes.

^^^^I think all of his moves are about tanking for a couple of years and drafting.

We are probably in the same position, because we would have scored a little less, but we would have giving up a little less too. Could just be the classic side step.

You can throw the "Isiah should tank" thought out the window now, especially with this imbecile's last high profile NBA job on the line. He should've thought of this 3 years ago but was too busy putting together a bunch of bums from Chicago.

High comedy the idea going after Wally which would be equivalent to going after KVH circa 03-04. What's the over/under he and Marbury go Fisticuffs because Marbury calls him out in the press saying "He may be from New York but isn't built for New York, he's soft!"

After every loss are we going to read that we should tank. Should pat riley tank the next 70+ games.

We will be fine and Im sure IT will make another move before the trading deadline.

I haven't been this sure about us in a very long time. Isiah loss that game last night and simply did not prepare his team properly. Aside from the fact that team was desperate.

If nate and and zach are not a in our line up, were going to struggle nate is hobbling, so he is playing at about 65%. He sets the tone and changes the pace. Zach makes every one on the floor job easier, bottom line.

zach may not be the problem, but he's not the solution either.

And so are we we're playing in a far more tougher Division than they are and are trying to make the playoffs at all cost. Man that statement is hilarious.

Dude we have Jones, Chandler, Mardy sitting on the bench waiting to impact the game. Nate is irrelevant.

I don't want Wally for his skills, even though he would fit the catch and shoot shooter we need. I would want Wally because his contract ends in 09 while Crawfords contract ends in 2011. We would have Marbury, Wally, Rose & Marshall's contracts all coming off the books that yr. That would equate to 48.5mil comming off the books after the 09 season. Our cap situation & flexability would be excellent. Plus possibly a high lottery draft pick from this season, and plenty of burn for the young players. It makes so much sense that it probably isn't going to happen.

Thats fair about the shorter contracts. In that respect, the trade makes sense.

We say we cant win a game with Zach but the Trailblazers managed to go 48-116 with Zach being the centerpiece the last two years.
If this team did not have Zach we might be 0-5.
