I would say though, to get to the next level of more than just a borderline playoff team, one of those guys will have to tremendously increase his defensive skills.

How does that Crawford trade for Motombo, Harrington and Frank Williams look now...Or Kurt Thomas for Q Rich and Nate, even tho Q is struggling...

Craw was sign and trade material. We gave them expirings not equal talent. Thats what they wanted.

KT for Qrich and nate was two seasons past. Q looks like crap so it was KT for Nate. sorry, we lost on that one.

But its all what a team is trying to do. Since we don't look to create space either by roster or cap, its kind of moot point.

Look at the record. ITs not good. Suns traded us Q and became a terror out west in the aftermath and did not miss nate do they?

IM not hating, but there are so many moving parts to a trade that its hard to isolate each one.

If you look at the w/l's, then the trades have ALL been a failure.

Since we are all so happy today about winning, hey, lets praise it all!

Regarding Zach, we have the money and the tolerance to take on a player like that. Not many teams would take on a contract with a guy whos character has been problematic off the court. Thats how we have done it and if Isiah can turn the corner with this philosphy then goody for all of us.

We benefited from circumstance... the Blazers didn't want to surround their stud young players with headcases. Here's the thing, Randolph had his problems when a lot of people make mistakes. Take my undergrad years for example... Good Lord. Anyway, I'm all about second chances.

I'm happy he's had a few good games but he's done this before. Do you think the Bulls would take him back even for free right now? I don't.

Actually, the way the Bulls have problems scoring, I think they would. They would probably also take Curry back.

No matter how well Zach plays, its going to be near impossible for him to produce up the level of his contract.
