Q shouldn't even be in the league the way he is playing, let alone a starter........

I'm right here.

What irritates me is the lack of consistency in players.

Today is a microcosm of that. QRich looked like an all-star for the first few minutes and then like an NBDL player the rest of the way. Zach was an absolute BUM for the first half then an All-Star in the 2nd half. Marbury looked like trash the first two games and then had an awesome game tonight. Jamal for his first 7 seasons in the NBA was total crap but now 3 games into this season he looks really good - YET - today he had way too many turnovers and he needs to work on that - YET we won so who cares I guess?

The key is consistency and I'm sorry but I refuse to believe Jamal has "got it" based on 3 games into his 8th season when he has 7 complete seasons of horribly inconsistent play on his resume.

I want to see more of this 8th season Jamal, which seems to mirror the Larry Brown Crawford experiment. Yet, until I see 10, 15, 20 games of CONSISTENT JAMAL I cannot jump on the bandwagon.

I'm tired of being disappointed. I need more than 3 games to sway my opinion.

BAH, I screwed that post up lol.

Labeled? Already have been. You know, last season I preached patience, I laid my own line in the sand at 33 games (end of December) but mid-december they were blown out by the Sixers and Celtics. Prior to that I was hammered for being a "Homer".

Well, after that line was crossed and I started questioning the direction of the team and the makeup of the roster, I was then hammered as a hater.

(Insert, long LOL here).

I can't take that crap. I am a Knick fan, when they do well they get my respect. When they stink it up they feel my wrath. I'm simply a fan. What can I say? Is this not part of being a fan of the team?

I speak my mind, that's how it is. It peeves some people, others recognize it for what it is.

Nothing I can do about outside opinion.

I still say Jamal is the leader and most important player on this team. I just wish he played some more D. But his offense has been a thing of beauty.

Then again, Zach and Balkman and Curry are all looking pretty important these days too. But I think Jamal has to be the leader.

So you are tired of being disappointed! You sound like a date that went to bed with someone who promised to call her in the morning but he didn't. Don't worry Crawford will be calling.

I said it. Jamal is outplaying Q now. I still think that Crawford and Marbury in the same lineup isn't useful. I also think that Q is offensive option number 5 in the current lineup where he could be a higher option on many other teams. He is also playing the 3, which reduces his ability to post up (he is a big SG but a small SF). Craw is playing great ball such that I am not looking to change things.

Based on his current performance, paybe start Craw at the PG, Move Q to the SG and start Balks? Either way, the starting Qrich is all about defense in the starting lineup and shifting some of the offensive punch to the bench. If Craw is outperforming Marbs, Marbury can come off the bench. This way you create size advantages in our favor at more positions.

Jamal played awesome last night along with Marbury, but Denver didn't play any defense as breen and clyde was stating all night.

Maybe the NBA has only a handful of teams that actually play real team defense.

Jamal still have some time to convince me, if I am not mistaken when teams play good defense and stifles our ball movement this is when he jack's up shots...we haven't played that kind of team yet.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

The best teams play defense. Since we want to be amongst the best teams in the league and not just like all the rest, we need to up the level of our defense
I just hope that people will like me

Hell no, getting Q post ups against 2guards is not a reason to move him to the 2 guard. He's defense has been bad and his scoring worse, he needs to go to the bench.

He should still come off the bench he has put together three good games, for that he deserves credit but the most important guys are lee and balkman they raise the energy and intensity when it's lacking......

The game hasn't won 35 games in his entire 7 season and is a career 40% shooter, hopefully he keeps playing well and ups his value. More balkmans out there the better

I still think we should give a go with him at the point. A DISCIPLINED point -- meaning IT should get in his ear, and make sure he plays under control.

He still could come off the bench if it meant that Balkman or Collins started.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
Where are all those people that think Jamal should come off the bench?
