I love the Bobcats there stacked with talent. From the 1 to the 5.
Eh not anymore, Primoz Brezac is starting at center and Emeka is playing the 4. The problem with the Cats is that they weren't a deep team to begin with, and now they have to find a way to replace Ammo and May. Last night Wallace and Felton played over 40 minutes, J Rich 36, and Ok4 37. Thats too many minutes for those guys because they go all out every game. Herrmann is barely getting any playing time and Carroll only played 19 minutes. IDk what new coach Sam Vincent is thinking, perhaps he just wanted to get the first win under his belt, but he needs to use his bench if he wants this team to last past the all star break.
We'll see how Vincent responds but I would expect a team' starters to be be logging close between 35 to 40 minutes a night. They do have some help on the bench with Anderson (who gave them some solid minutes last year), Carroll, the rookie Dudley and Hermann.
Not picking NBA champions here but I think they could make a decent run at a playoff spot this year.

Jeff McInnis actually played 24 minutes last night which was surprising. I don't know why Herrmann is not starting at PF. That dude was a terror the second half of last season. I do know Vincent is stressing DEFENSE at all times so I guess he feels Emeka is best suited at the 4 with Brezac at center, but Brezac really does suck. (except when he's dunking over Chubby) I'm thinking Vincent really wanted to get this first win at home so he played it like a playoff game and shortened his rotation. Dudley didn't even play.
As for playoffs, like I said, the cuddly little Cats are going to need everyone to contribute if they want to make a playoff run. Ok4 and Wallace always get really banged up as the season goes along and they aren't deep down low. I hope they do make the playoffs because I'd LOVE to go to some games as I have fallen in love with this team. They are a nice diversion from the hell that is Isiah Thomas and the Knicks.
