Knicks play Cleveland this Friday night at 7:30. Who is down to get together and watch the game? I'm down. And on ActionJackson's suggestion and VDesai's reminder -- I request that we all meet up at Croxley Ales.

Beer lovers take notice: The bar has over 300 unique international beers.

My band is playing that night (at midnight) and I need to be relatively close to the venue so I can make it there after the game - this bar is perfect because it is just down the street from the club I'm playing. I can't wait to catch the season opener with you guys. Last year's season opener event was awesome. Hopefully the Patron will flow freely once again. Holla back!

Wow, eVil...wish I could make the trip. Sounds like it would be a great time after the game if everyone went to see the band.

Yeah, it's a pretty cool coincidence. It only dawned on me yesterday that the game and the show were the same night. I was so happy that we booked the midnight slot. I haven't missed a season opener in years.

I'm down- I think Action Jackson threw out Croxley's Ales in the East Village, which is a good choice. The Blue Seats didn't seem that cool from the initial reviews.

ok guys, I hate to do this, but I will not be in NYC this weekend.

I am kinda down on the Knicks lately, and especially after that last preseason game, I want to wait until the Knicks can show me that they are worth seeing before I make a trip to the city. I got a lot of other things going on too.

The Patron and general Knicks chatter will be missed but I will participate in an Ultimate get-together later this season.

Of course this whole thing is doubly painful since it would have been extra sweet to go from Knicks to seeing eVil ripping off his shirt mid-concert. Sorry dude, next time.

Glad you saw that. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Jazz artists. You guys are the cream of the crop. Hopefully the Knicks will be making some nice music this Friday!
