Haven't seen Chandler play.

Right now its Chandler because The Balkman is injured. But what happens when he comes back? I say, if Chandler keeps playing solid basketball, give him more minutes. He seems more of a balance in defense and offense, while Balkman is better at defense...

I'd give Balk the edge because of his experience, but Chandler does have more upside.

Balkman is a decent choice but...

October 20, 2007 -- While rookie Demetris Nichols' failing battle for a Knicks roster spot has captured some fans' fancies, first-round pick Wilson Chandler has flown under the radar.

No longer. Shockingly, Chandler has emerged as an unlikely candidate for a spot in the rotation on opening night in Cleveland in less than two weeks, according to team officials.

(unlikely candidate? I think not. The candidacy of The Mayor was announced way back in July)

Chandler's rise in status is partly due to Renaldo Balkman's injury and that Jared Jeffries and Mardy Collins have had nondescript preseasons.

Isiah Thomas, with his mind locked on Chandler a month before the draft, talked about someone who wouldn't be ready for playing time for a year or two.

In the Knicks' exhibition loss to the Nets, Chandler got serious run (29 minutes) as Thomas wanted to take a closer look. Chandler, athletic and defense-oriented but with a streaky offensive game, did not disappoint.

(there is nothing "streaky" about Chandler's offense, but that never stopped anyone from sticking on a random, inaccurate label)

Chanlder has more potential to be an allstar type player but this year u gotta give the minutes 2 balkman cuz he's earned it....

Balk adds a dimension that we don't have with his energy and D. I really like Chandler's game too. I think he's ready to play this year. I'd really like to play both (maybe swing one to the 2). I think a big lineup of Craw, Chandler, Balkman and some rotation of Curry/Lee/Randolph is very intriguing, could cause a lot of matchup problems for the opposition and really dictate the game.

I wanna see both guys play....sucks that Blakman is hurt.....since he is.....i wanna see chandler get major run if he deserves it....

Q has shown that hes done for.....hopefully I'm wrong, he is really showing his man boobs.

Cartman - the difference is that even when Chandler goes for the fake, he has enough hang time to still get the blocked shot.

I see Chandler is this years favorite player to overrate.
