I'd love to hear the reasons on this one.
Would love it
Wouldn't mind if it meant losing a few of these players
Yes' but we don't have the money
No, we'll do just fine, maybe even better without him
If I had a choice, I'd keep starbury
I hate everything about L.A.

I voted no. We wouldn't have enough left to contend after we traded for him, so what's the point.

LA would have to take Marbury in return. We couldn't have both of them playing together along with Zach and Curry? Not enough balls to shoot. And Jamal?
P.S. I voted for #2 - Wouldn't mind....but who are the few players?

You just mentioned one. And whoever you think should go, which pretty much would be half the team.
I'll never trust this' team again.

What do you mean would you like? He is the best player in the league if you have a shot at it you need go get it done. I don't even understand what manner hallucinations people need to subscribe to, to talk of not doing the trade in orer to keep certain players on the current roster. I mean there arwe real people saying things like "I would keep Balkman over doing a trade for Kobe Bryant!!!!!!" ----- jeeez
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

How many games do you think Kobe's Knicks would win per season if he had a worse support cast than he had in LA? His team went 14-16 against eastern conference teams last year. And Odom is better than any teammate he'd have in NY.

There needs to be another option: Who cares? It's merely switching seats on the Titanic!

seriously... to say you wouldn't trade any of the collection of non-HOF calibre talent on this team for an alltime great like Kobe is pretty ridiculous.

And yet I made the thread to see how many felt that way. Someone even chose suckbury over Kobe. It's just to see how divided people are around here on the Kobe thing.

And your point is????????????

If you can get the best player in the league by giving up pieces out of a 33 win team you don't count how many games you win you go damn do the trade. I would give up any combination of anybody on this roster to get Kobe because it can only get better for this team.

To some' with the pieces we have on this team now, vs. bringing in a blockbuster of a player, some people actually beleive we'd be worse off if we had Kobe? And what have we been with this bunch of clowns I have to ask you lovers?
I'll never trust this' team again.

Some fans will never learn. Here we go again let's review who we were supposed to get or in the mix and our gullibleness.

Kobe
K.G.
Jermaine
Vince Carter
Artest
Odom
Gasol
Marion
AK 47
Lewis
Wallace
Ray Allen
Zach Randolph(We Got This Guy LOL Out Of The Bunch)
Matt Carroll
Mo Pete

Now it's on again, we're in the mix for Kobe again and we're going to get em. Kuptchak and Buss may have some screws loose but they don't want our garbage and KOME doesn't want to come here.

GET IT, GOT IT, GET OVER IT, GOOD!

I don't beleive we have a ghost of a chance of getting him and I am not a fan of Kobe Bryant.

That said, he IS the best player in the league and the question on the thread was how I would feel IF it was possible.

I think one of the choices should be: Yes, but only if he wants to come here...

I think Kobe is too much a diva & he has too many miles on his body.

If the knicks were closer to 'taking the next step', I might be for it.

We're a 33 win team until we prove otherwise.
