Especially for those who consider themselves *haters*. Or anyone who doesn't consider themself a hater, but can't stand the knick managment or main players.
Do you stay quiet and let them rip the knicks?
Do you leave the area?
Do you agree with them and rip the knicks together?
Or does the urge to defend the knicks overwhelm you? Since it is a non knick fan talking reckless, And you start ripping there teams?

I just down my head in embarassment. My girlfriend is a Lakers fan. I used to joke, "well at least we don't have a rapist as our best player!" Then, the Knicks traded for Zach.

I immediately contact Senator McCarthy. He holds a hearing where he berates the miscreants and gets them to turn in the other haters. The haters are made to sign a "Knicks Loyalty Oath". If they don't, they lose their jobs.

I was at work, were talking about basketball, I told my co-workers that im a knicks fan. They started to go off on me. So of course I had to talk reckless myself. Just bring that situation to see how others handle it. Since I know that knicks hear it.

NewYork, that is an excellent question, and as a Boston Celtics fan, I'd like to give you an answer. When I see a Knicks fan in the street and I start talking trash, I can say that the majority will clearly try and bash my team. However, then I bring up the fact that my favorite players, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are Knick dominators and we'll sweep the season series. They tend to believe me so I follow up by proclaiming that the Knicks will get in the playoffs with a 38 win record and will face us in the first round. We'll have a close game in game 1 and you'll be up for most of the game, but then my man Ray Ray will score 15 points in the final 3 minutes, giving us the victory. We will proceed to blow the Knicks out the next 3 games. Most Knick fans get real upset and depressed about that, so I decide it's my duty to continute kicking as they are down and crying. I make a few yo mama jokes. Life is great as a Celtics fan. I'll just say that much.

I was wearing my Knicks jersey the other day(Allan houston jersey) and some guy said "how could you wear that? Don't you know they suck?" Later he said "hey has Marbs slept with any interns lately".
As luck would have it we were on opposite teams the next game. I guarded him and he guarded me. Now I'm not one to keep track but I vaguely remember scoring all 11 points in the rout.
In the end, who cares what other people think? Have confidence in yourself and you too can light up some skinny, dorky kid that can't play basketball but thinks the Knicks suck
I just hope that people will like me

Ouch, considering that lad was your 4 year old son, that was a bit rough I'd say.

But did you run the offense?
Of course I ran the offense. There was one play where one of my teammates was open under the basket and was waving his hands and yelling "I'm open, I'm open". I told him to "shut up and let me run the offense". I then believe I jacked up a 25 footer.

I just realize there are more important things in the world than sports. Everyone has their opinions and when a team in doing great, they can boast about it. When the team sucks, there's less boasting, so it really depends on if you get heated easily or not.

Yup. I think your reaction is more an indication of your personality than how much you actually like the Knicks.

You sure showed him. I bet that guy was a Larry lover too.

The bas-tard was saying stuff like "share the ball", "trust your teammates" and "play ball the right way". Of course he was a Larry lover.
I share the ball all the time. After I drain another long range three I have no problem allowing the other team to take the ball out of the basket.
I trust my teammates. I trust them to give me the goddam-n ball.
I play the game the right way. By sticking jumpshots in my defenders grill.
Down with Larry

You know, I went to a JVG clinic once. And he said some stuff that I really don't remember. But, I bet you that guy was there, taking notes.
I can just imagine him trying to set picks. And you throwing the ball at his face, telling him to get out of the way. I guess some people never learn.
