1.) Starbury becomes BuyoutBury.


2.) Trade Zach Randolph to any, ANY team that wants him.

Here's some ideas: Gooden + Snow; Wilcox + Watson; Milicic + Stoudy


3.) Grab Mayo or Flash Gordon in the draft.


4.) Celebrate Championships.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

You left out a few steps:

5.) Mills is fired

6.) Dolan's Daddy takes the team away from him and puts him back into rehab

7.) Everybody on UK gives islesfan an official apology for giving him a hard time since Day 1, when it turns out that he was right all along

bobs3304 - you don't need all those convoluted and uncoordinated steps

You don't need to worry about buying out Marbury, peddling Zach Randolph, coveting the next best thing in the 08 draft or calling Bloomberg about a parade in lower Manhattan.

There is only ONE thing you need to have happen when the President of Basketball Operations position becomes vacant....

(drum roll please)

Make Bill Bradley (or as reasonable a facsimile) an offer he cannot refuse

bingo, the rest will take care of itself.

If you don't start at the top with a strong-willed, determined and temporarily bulletproof leader, the politics at 2 Penn Plaza will only continue as they have for the past 30 years and probably get more divisive.

I like it, but instead of Mayo I think the Knicks should either draft Derrick Rose and make him their franchise PG or SF Michael Beasley
some Knick fans accept mediocrity as excellence .... I don't!

you don't want to be caught unprepared when Stern imposes his will on the Knicks with a stiff penalty for exercising poor and bad taste

There are none right now, Dolan as usual has no idea whats going on and let all the really qualified people get jobs. So the knicks are influx.

Thomas and Steve Mills are a big problem, as is the power the players have and the lack of professionalism. You need to start moving people the way the blazers did, the way the bulls did and build through talented character you can't have a questionable at every position.

And you can't have a gm that gives out captainship to appease players so their feelings don't get hurt.

Hire the Oakman for 3 million to be an assistant coach and keep the players in line, get rid of Nate Robinson and Jamal Crawford, hold curry to high standards on defense, get more veterans in the lockeroom i don't care what you have to pay these guys needs support there is good young talent in collins, balkman and lee, these kids need to be peserved. We need someone that gets people the ball so we can run.

If isiah is here he is going to continue to clog of rotation spots with redundant talent and effect team chemistry because he has way to many guys that believe they can play, even though they don't provide anything.
