Okay I have a question my friend and I are going on a European tour but we are arriving the night before the tour so she insisted on us staying at a Hostel. My question is has anyone else here stayed at a Hostel in London or any Hostel before? My next question is will my bag be okay because its rolley type bag but its definetly not something I can throw on my bed next to me. Should I be worried about my stuff being jacked.

Its only for one night and we just needed a cheap place to crash until our tour the next morning.

You should rent the movie "Hostel". After that you should feel much better about things.

Hostels fill quickly, especially this time of year. Call ahead.

How many people are you sharing a room with?

As far as your passport keep that separate from everything else. Keep money rolled up in your socks. Keep your passport in used underwear. As far as electronics besides your cell phone and ipod you really don't need anything else. If you need a laptop let your friend bring one.


Is this a five star hotel?

Big C the room has 4 beds so im assuming that we are sharing the room with 2 other people. Im definetly not bringing my laptop just my creative zen (like ipod only better) passport, and credit/debit card.
Oh and the hotels we'll be staying in for the tour is probably around 2 star or 3 star.

Sliverfuel im staying at Globetrotter Inn but seriously we're looking for people who can give us the inns and outs of the city from a Londoner's perspective best transportation, places to eat, bars to hit etc.

Two other people that you don't know?

When you hide your stuff make sure the others don't see you. Take your small things with you to bathroom (money,credit card, passport. That's when hide your stuff in socks. Then put everything in your carry on. Your passport is the most important thing. The credit cards stay in your wallet. As far as your ipod, it should aways be with you unless you are going to a club or bar. If you are going shopping take credit cards or cash. (Don't bring 50 cards) Just 1 is enough. Don't start hiding stuff until you get to the hotel.

You should be ok.
