What knick moments to you are just too hard to think about? What would you rather forget? What should have happened but didn't and what would you have done?

As far as I'm concerned, trading rod Strickland cut me deep. Mark Jackson was still there and he won rookie of the year but he was no way as quick and skilled as rod was.

Which brings me to loosing Bernard king. The knicks could have signed him but chose not to. Back then I wasn't all deep into salaries and salary cap. I do remember guys talking about it and how it could be done. I believed them. I cried man. I was still a kid when Bernard was pn the bullets. I just remember how nasty he was as a knick and that he just seemed to expand his game more as a bullet. It freakin hurts. Msg tried to con the fans with kiki, walker and xman. Bernard was the missing piece. That man was literally the king of the city with a massive killer instinct. He proved he could come back. Why would you let him go?

Oak, bernard, ewing, rod Strickland, Gerald Wilkins. Come on man. Its just too tough to think about sometimes.

I must say signing Houston to the richest contract for his position in NBA history is a close second. The knicks should have signed and traded him. They could have gotten another good piece and had spree play the 2 guard. That era was a waste.

Trading ewing even though it probably had to happen, the knicks needed to be a lot smarter with that. Ok fine, they got glen rice. Well that dude would have fit better if the knicks went in a different direction with Houston. Even if they traded spree. One of them had to go. That was just a dumb ass sequence of events.

Both these times in knick history were times when the knicks were standing in front of the enemy with the biggest gun ever made, but no bullets. When they did get the ammunition, they wasted most of it shooting themselves in the foot.

3 stick out in this order:

1. riley resigning
2. ewing's missed finger roll
3. ewing breaking his wrist in milwaukee (thus signalling the beginning of the end)

The Miami suspensions for me. That Knick team was the best of the Ewing era. Still had the Ewing-Oak-Starks toughness of the Riley Knicks but also finally had the long awaited talent at the wings in LJ and Houston. They were firing on all cylinders in those playoffs too. Would've given Jordan's Bulls a damn tough fight. Instead the league obeyed the letter of the law rather than the spirit, costing us the series against a clearly inferior Miami team. The 2007 Suns ain't got nothing on the 1997 Knicks. The cherry on top is that Ewing broke his wrist the very next season so that team never even had a chance at redemption.

I will never forgive the NBA for that decision. Which is why I don't feel bad about what happened to PHX this year. It happend to us. Let it be a curse on the rest of the league too.

The one that made me feel most acutely physically ill was Reggie scoring those 8 quick points and erasing what seemed to be a comfortable late game lead.

Him scoring those 20+ points in the 4th Q the year before also was remarkably painful to watch.

Game 6 against Houston...Ojajuwon blocking Starks' 3 with us being 3 pts away from a title.

Then of course Game 7 against Houston and Starks' awful night

CSmith getting repeatedly blocked.

Ewing missing the finger role.

Ewing breaking his wrist, which basically was the end of his career and an entire era.

Ewing being traded...heart just sank there. He wasn't at a point in his career where he could get it done anymore...but the thought of him being on another team...devastating.

Gosh...why are you making remember these things that I tried to bury! This is depressing!

I was traumatized after that Reggie Miller 8 point game. I couldn't do anything but stare blankly at the wall for about an hour after that.

Bernard tearing up his knee was also a real low point. Those Hubie Brown teams really stank without King.

Watching rik smits bust the knicks ass used to kill me. He played his best ball against the knicks.

That ewing missed finger roll was deflating. I couldn't believe he got to the basket and I couldn't believe he tried to do something he never ever did before.

Charles smith not manning up and just bulling his way under the basket was just retarded. I still can't look at him. Michesl Jordan says that was his best garden moment. That says it all.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I was at that game. I also took my nephew. It was his first game ever.
