Wow! Tyson Chandler over Ben Wallace and Eddy Curry? Marcus Camby belongs up there but he is too injury prone (form his stay in Toronto and NY) to have an impact for a few long seasons. I think it should be Ben at 6, Eddy at 7 and Tyson Chandler at 9 after Zoo Crew. Can you post a link playa?

to me- Amare and Ben Wallace are 'power forwards'

No way I rank Yao that high- not until he sheds the soft label.

I might go

Shaq
Dwight Howard
Marcus Camby
Yao
Curry
Chandler
Ilgauskas
Okur

And I honestly didn't watch enough of Chandler last year to say whether he should be ranked above Curry.

Ben Wallace is not a Power Forward!
He's an DPOY center!

I would probably put Curry at #10 in the list. Not being a hater, but many of these other guys possess skills that Curry doesn't, other than scoring. I think Curry has the potential to get to #1 on that list. All he has to do is want to be that good.

Yes, Amare and Ben Wallace play center. Since people were tossing Amare off the PF list, he has to fit at center, then... I mean he does play *some* position.

I can see dwight Howard exploding this yr with the new coach SVG and all.

His defense should be at an all time best under Stan.

Actually what it tells me is that Tyson Chandler could have been had for an expiring deal, and eddy curry cost two lottery picks. Someone explain that to me. Or run it by Isiah so he knows from now on you don't have to fold to get a deal done

Come on MS.Isiah is learning.
Give him some time. 4-8 years and he will be OK...

Okur was an all-star center on a 50 win team. You CAN'T rank him below Eddy.

I think that list is pretty good except Shaq has clearly dropped more and Tyson should be below Eddy. I'd have Eddy at #5, Tyson #6 and Shaq#7

Who cares what center played on a 50 win team. So did Oberto/Elson of the Spurs. Curry was better than Okur and Dime got it right

I don't think you can put Curry ahead of Chandler. Curry is not invited to play with team usa and doesn't really have any effect for half the game.....

Chandler 9.5pts 12.4rbs 1.8blks 1.7tos 6.4fga 62%
Curry 19.5pts 7.0rbs 0.5blks 3.6tos 12.5fga 58%

Would the knicks be a better team with Chandler starting next to Zach, I think you have to say yes, would you trade Eddy for Tyson I don't know if I would

Key stats
Rebounding TC + 5
Scoring EC + 10
Blocks TC + 1.3
-Curry is losing you almost two more positions a game, while not defending the rim, Chandler alters shots, eddy does not.

I agree, MS. I think Chandler had a better year and is a better player than Curry -- actually if you morphed Chandler and Curry into one player, that would be a hell of a player. Okur certainly had a better year than Curry also.

I'm not a huge fan of the curry trade- but Curry does get the opposing team into the penalty sooner- so you've got to also add a + for that- its not there in the stat.

He might be giving that up on the defensive end, where someone has to help him, etc.

Honestly- you could probably give them a tie for the same spot on the ranking- 5a/5b or something like that.

I'm just surprised that Chicago gave up on that tandem. Seems like they would have been great compliments to each other.
