Andrew, Martin,
I know its been mentioned on here about a search function, and that would be great.

I have an idea for a new feature. A "put it on the record" feature.
It would allow a user to put one or more of his posts in the public record forever after.
So I can predict that a win total, or a draft pick preference, or a trade will/will not work
and put it on the public record by my own accord or in response to a challenge by another
user, and it will be attached to my profile or some other easilly reachable place indexed
by user. It will solve some of the arguments we have around here regarding "hindsight".

Thoughts? Feasibility?

i think alot of people would like the use of a "ignore feature" but then that would mean everybody would only be reading their own posts...and mine.

Panos....coincidentally Martin and I spoke about adding a predicted win total for the season that was associated to each user. We will try and add that prior to the season.

eVil....if you don't see one of the new banners up in the next day or 2, remind me.

The most important addition would be a diderotn filter, where you could turn strings of meaningful text into gibberish. I think it would unite the board, since we'd all be talking on the same level.

Awww. Is an ignore feature really necessary?

I sorta like the discourse that goes on here - as vitriolic and vicious as it can get at times.

Oh, another thing.
You need to set up an "affliation" with a "fiduciary personage" who can act as an intermediary between two users that want to put there money where there mouths are.

Add a field under the user name, number of posts, date joined and member # showing whether the poster is a h8r or a h0m3r.

I also like the idea of being able to put something on the permanent record. That makes it much easier to Man Up in the future.
