A quote from Noah from a piece done on him by Bulls.com:

Bulls.com: You’ve affection for the Knicks while growing up in New York is no secret. Are you prepared to officially renounce your support for them?
Noah: “I actually haven’t liked the Knicks for awhile. The last Knicks teams that I really followed were before Patrick Ewing left. Since then, I’ve kind of divorced my affiliation with the Knicks. But growing up, I was definitely a fan… and the Bulls always beat them.”

Thought it interesting to share.

Thoughts? Do we care?

As if a guy who wears a white suit with a bow tie (to a non-white tie affair) should ever pass judgement on anything.

I've hated Noah for a few years now so this does nothing except upgrade that a bit.

It's politics. What's he supposed to say, that he still loves the Knicks? If he were here you know he'd be saying something different. Doesn't mean a thing.

Like you will be a hockey player drafter by Rangers?

I dont know if political is the right word, because the jab he took at Knick fans with the "bulls always beat them" comment was definitely inflammatory. He could have easily gotten out of that question without saying that. For any '90s Knick fan that stings a little, and he knows it. I'd sit out a year and then re-enter the draft the following year.

I was going to say, maybe renouncing is a bit extreme, but isn't Noah spoken like a true Knick fan there?

Who cares do you like what the knicks have become. If you do your not a fan, if you excited about isiah thomas type players, than to be honest you don't like the knicks.

We used to have a franchise where everyone played for each other, no one acted like they were better than the next guy and the focus was on defense, team work, mental toughness, and winning.

Now we have a guys that don't care about defense, believe their shoes are changing the world, and guys who come in under motivated and out of shape.

I'm sorry but since they have been here have you said to yourself wow Jamal and Steph really worked on their games, or wow look at the shape some of these guys are in, or wow we are really playing hard every night and not half assing it....

If you believe any of those things your not a knick fan and you haven't been watching

Noah is one of the best kids I have ever been around. Caring, nice, classy, and treats people the right way. He loves to win and he loves the knicks and wanted to play in NY and with Lee. He is a Bull now and I hope he does great
