Curry is so fat? Marbs is a space cadet that's a disgrace to sports?

Its time to get on the grind and workout that behind!

This is the time of year where athletes start their workouts to prepare for pre-season and training camp. The vacation is over. Its time to saddle up and get back on the horse.

Is anybody up for a little training camp?

As always, I challenge the guys and gals to get their nutrition and workouts in gear. Being more healthy is a goal of mine and I fail every single time. I know most working mofos have the same problem. Still, its never too late to get in shape.

So you down?

Question? When does real NBA training camp start? When does pre-season begin? When does the regular season start? These will be our target dates.

Again I always fail at these challenges but maybe this time we can post some before and after pics or at least use our get together pics as reference.

How bout it?

Eny, what's a good workout plan? I kind of strayed from the last one... it's tough because I work a lot, but I would definitely like to get in shape so I can shove Allanfan around in the paint (I'll probably regret saying that if we ever play).

Here's my routine:

Sat and mon is back days. Sundays and Tuesday are chest days. Weds is my lonesome leg day.

I plan on doing cardio after a hit the weights. If I don't run, I will play some ball. I may have a bike pretty soon so I could hit that from time to time.

I can fit my beer fix on my off days.

I'm down cause B-Ball is the only workout regimen that I can stick to. Maybe we can do a real training camp...meet 3x a week to run drills or we can all take this class http://www.nevertoolate.com/

eny, what a motivator! i've been alternating short, hard runs (yesterday did 2 miles in 13 minutes) with longer runs (today i did just a 30 minute jog, not sure how far, probably a tad over 3 miles).

i'm a big cardio guy, and rather than hitting the gym i'll bang out a few hundred pushups and situps most days of the week.

i like the plan though, 6 weeks until school starts, gotta be looking good for the ladies and feeling good for myself.

hell yeah daddy

I once took one of those. It was ok. I never played organized ball so I wanted to work on my fundamentals.
Unfortunately the level of the others in the class was pretty low. But I would love to find some clinic to work on
skills.

Shhh...I took a class at NTL also, w/one of my rapidly declining into middle age friends but you're right it would be better if there was an equal skill level. Maybe we can get a UK group rate???

I was playing ball yesterday. I just turned 28 the other day, I'm looking at the young dudes in the park. I was way better than these guys when I was between the ages of 16-22. Somewhere along the line I let go. I had a six pack when I was 22. I'm 28 now. What have I been doing for the last 6 years? Its time to being sexy back.

If not I'm gonna have to slide marv a $50 for some prescription "happy" pills.

Only $50? Hmm... Marv the dealer. Depends on what kind of happy pills. What does Steph take these days?
