I say that because although I'm technically a first time poster, I've been lurking on this board for years. There have been moments here where i thought "hallelujah & pass the hot sauce" cause someone else in the universe saw that the PF forgot to double down & that led to the pass that led to the deep three in the corner & thats why we lost (again...) and no-one else especially MSG's announcers seem to notice or care but even though I was happy about finding a kindred soul, I still choose to lurk in the shadows. And there have been moments where people have written some inane & borderline outlandish posts or moments that have made me consider why haters (or Islander Fans) would even come to a Knicks site in the first place and yet I kept my anger in check & always remained silent.
But when the almighty DJ told me the only way I could get some run in the upcoming UB B-Ball tournament i knew the time had come to get off my nut (or Donut as we say on the playground...i dont want anyone thinking I'm a friggin perv in my first post).
So as they say on FAN "I'm a fist time caller but long time listener"...
Some days I wanna strangle Lord Thomas & others i'm sippin the Kool-Aid with a long straw but either way I always bleed Orange & Blue and I hope to be an active participant round these parts for many seasons to come.

I wont stand for any dissing of a man so dedicated to Blue Devil basketball that he had his face surgically altered to look like Grant Hill. Clearly the brother is serious with his game.

a fat PG w/great court vision & a teardrop shot over the big brutes in the lane...Hell Yeah he was my idol. I couldn't relate to all those fools walking on air above the rim but Mark was someone I could not only emulate but possibly be better than if I lost 30lbs.

ok you're in.

i loved the fat jackson too but the rookie jackson was the best! one of the greatest rookie years ever for a pg in this league then he comes back the next year thinking he has to score more and f**k's everything up from there

I'm torn. On one hand, I'm the only poster to get called out by name. On the other, he said that some days he'd like to strangle "Lord Thomas".

I think I need some clarification.

Out of every 10 days, how many days do you typically want to strangle "Lord Thomas"?

Answer carefully...anything less than an answer of 10 out of 10 days will make you Isle's mortal enemy(or at least just another one).

I'm not gonna lie to you, the list is long my friend.

Wait, I just checked and you don't seem to be on it Joe. Would you mind answering the question too?

Islesfan seems to be growing soft on Isiah these days. Isles, just remember, you become what you hate.

Yeah. We need that. [sarcasm]This board is really full of those subdued dispassionate types.[/sarcasm]
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Uh oh, I feel it starting to happen already. I have a strange urge to sexually harrass someone.

Actually, I haven't gotten softer, there are just so many more people who are showing their displeasure with Isiah that my job is much easier. It's like someone who starts a new business. They work their asses off in the beginning but eventually they can back off and let others run the day to day stuff for him, if they laid a good foundation, which I think I have.

I've heard about your (hit) list. This is entrapment!

However I wouldn't mind if you earned the nickname Isles "The Lousiville Slugger" fan

Isles (if i may call you that) here's the thing. I am a Knick fan first & foremost & consequently I am for whatever fantasy brings us back to relevance. Whether it was Marbury & LB putting there differences aside & forming a Holy Point Guard Trinity With Isiah as God, LB as the Holy Ghost & Marbs as Jesus or Isiah being drawn & quartered in a public square because his sacrifice will appease the B-ball gods & return our mojo...I dont care which path we take I just want MSG to bounce again. That being said, I dont think Isiah is the devil (or even incompetent for that matter) but merely the latest in a long line of great players that has trouble rerouting their greatness from the hardwood to the sideline. there's something instinctual about the way the "greats" play that they cant seem to explain to mortals which is why i'm throwing my support behind a campaign to install Mark Jackson as the next Coach & Greg Anthony as GM because it has been proven time & time again that mediocre PG's make excellent executives.

P.S. - oh yeah, it's 3-10 days that i wanna get "sprewell" on IT's jugular
