I dont want to hear this crp David Lee scks role player Id give him up for Artest in two seconds.

David Lee===chemistry team player toughness locker room good guy relaible improving skill set and already averaged double double at 23 years old

Ron Artest=the unkown the unrelaible the anti-chemistry. If all it took to make a great team was grabbing all of the name superstars--the Yankees wouldnt be 37-40--if we can get Artest for a low caliber package where we can afford to DROP him IF he fcks up--that is reasonable--and I think IT has some reason within him.

If I thought Isiah was gonna give him more than 18 to 22 mpg, I'd agree.

why do you think he will get considerably less minutes this year than last year?

Trading Lee for Artest should be punishable by death.

if lee remains, he will play over 30 mins a game. as the season plays out, we'll find out we're more effective with lee + zach or lee + curry than zach + curry. lee will get his minutes and may even get some SF time as well. he's gonna get burn.

if i had to pick a player who may start taking a backseat and see his minutes dwindle a little bit...i'm going with eddy.

Thats not going to happen. Isiah isn't going after Artest. If he is going to do it its going to be only after Kobe decides his fate. Isiah has his sights set on bringing Kobe to NY.

I thought we just added a PF who plays 36 mpg but I could be wrong.

Lee will get his minutes at 3 positions.

Plus Artest is a time bomb. So even if Lee got less minutes, it's stupid to trade him for a player you can't depend on.

I don't think any of us think it's wise to trade Lee for anything short of a KG/Koby level talent anyway. I love watching RonRon play but I think we could get him for the Balkster-
My question is does anyone think Balkman will develop into a 2 way player like Ron if we hold tight and don't trade anyone else?
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

The key is pairing Lee with Randolph. How will that work defensively.

The real question is who has more upside Balkman or Lee. I think Balkman has a better chance at being more effective than Lee on this team. Personally, I don't know if you really need Artest other than experience. The Knicks seem to have collected a lot of promising SFs over the last two years, that could be proven more than adequate over time.

Because Curry has to be played for 30 plus as an Isiah Trade
Because Zach has to be played for 30 plus as an Isiah Trade
Because Jared has play as an Isiah Trade
Because Q has to play as an Isiah Trade
Because Jerome has to play as an Isiah signing
Because Morris has to play as as an isiah signing and being the reason why we picked a kid we may have never worked out

Balkman and Lee are going to be on the $#!@ of the stick this year, I bet my house on it.

Hmmm.., wait weren't Lee and Balkman drafted by Isiah. Back to the drawing board.

Yeah and Frye was the number one Isiah would have picked over Bogut. This whole team is Isiah, ain't Layden parts left, so what's your point???

I tend to agree. We have Balkman, JJ2, Chandler, Q, and Nichols at the SF position. Rather than get ARtest, we probably would be better served giving those minutes to Balkman and seeing what he can do with more playing time. If we want Artest, he will be there next year when he opts out of his contract. Use this year to develop our own players and increase their trade value.

My point is that in your previous one, you had no point. You stated that Lee and Balkman will not get minutes because... And you stated various Thomas trades and signings as to reasons why. Lee was not traded as part of the Curry deal which at the time on this forum and other places was just as controversial as the pick of Lee over Taft and Blatche. Balkman was called controversial by ESPN and people went nuts because he was chosen over Marcus Williams. So why would two of his most controversial moves get less time than his other moves. There was no logic to your point. If that wasn't enough, Lee average more minutes than Jefferies last season; nearly 6 more minutes.

What, I said those players are going to play and everything Isiah did last is proof salary plays a huge roll in who gets to play. You can get all mad, but We have two guys that are going to get 65-70 minutes at the 4 and 5 in front of Lee. So unless the knicks are going to be the only team in the league to play a three man rotation, Lee is going to be on the short end of minutes this year.

Balkman has Q and Jeffries in front and Isiah playing his three guard rotations isn't going to stop. Hell supposedly Lee is going to be playing at the three too around knicks nation....... who exact is this good for Balkman.

LOL, yeah it's all made up though I guess........
