Alright, there's lots of venom flying around here.
Who's going to man up and predict a W/L record for next year?

Honestly, I think this team should be about to break about even.
But then again, I thought that last year too.
Anyway, I'll be willing to be wrong again: 40W-42L.

(Please predict a record, not a range. Ranges are not Manning Up.)

(edited my prediction, I had a 84 game schedule )

there's a good shot we finish with somewhere between 5 and 75 wins.

the real question is if they miss the playoffs, should isiah get fired?

It's a bit early, isn't it? Are we sure we know who will be on the team next year?

Yes. And regardless.

I'm going with 38-44

I'll have to wait and see how the roster shakes out before I make a prediction

At the end of the season when there was talk the same team probably will come back I had the team tentatively penciled in for 37 wins. Now with the recent acquisition of Zach and our team's tendency to implode during the season I may have to go lower. I said I wouldn't give an official prediction until pre-season is over. Which brings up another Topic in my mind.

i think we have one more move on the horizon. it could range from big to earth shattering, not sure yet. but the player in question will be making at least $7 mil/year so it will be a significant piece.

I wonder how many more non-playoff years some of us will stand for this non-rebuild/rebuilding.
nixluva, I'd love to hear you man up on that one, and give us a horizon on it.
I tried to get you to say it last year and you avoided the question.

He doesn't liked to be boxed in on this topic it's like backing a mad dog into a corner. He's already on my record saying with the addition of Zach it's a 10gm improvement from last season. That's put the total at 43wins. I'd love to hear him Man Up himself though.

Alrighty.

This is the type of thread that a vet like me waits for.

50 MOTHERLOVIN' WINS, BISHES.

And in the spirit of "manning up," I'm willing to put money behind it.

A $50 bet that the KNICKS make it to 50 wins this regular season to the first six haters to:

a. respond and take the bet
b. confirm the bet in person at the UK pickup game
c. remove their bloody tampons and strap on a set of cojones.

I don't have to name names, but there're are a few posters on here that I'd LOVE to see step up and take this action.

Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Initially I was going to put 40-42 but every year I'm overly optimistic and end up overshooting.

That's what I get for being such an overly optiministic person when it comes to Isiah and the Knicks.

I'm in. I won't be at the pick-up game I'll have to find some other way to come to terms on this deal.

I'm against the 50win total

50-55 win talent but will win between 42-45 games. Good for a 6-8 seed in the east. A solid appearance in the playoffs, where we fight hard but lose in the first round. A trade of David Lee and someone else for another rehabilitation project
I just hope that people will like me

What kind of earthshattering move are you expecting? Kobe?

Make it an even hunny and you have yourself a deal.

I'm not going to make the pickup game but if I don't pay, I'll accept being banned from this site forever in lieu of payment.

How's that for cajones?

i would put artest in the earth shattering category - that's a pretty big acquisition.
