Monday Press Conference For New Knicks

The Knicks have announced a Monday, 4:00 PM EDT press conference at the team's Madison Square Garden Training Center in Greenburgh, New York.

Isiah Thomas will present Zach Randolph as the newest Knick acquisition. Randolph was acquired in a draft-day deal in exchange for Channing Frye and Steve Francis.

The Knicks' press release indicates that Dan Dickau and Fred Jones will also be in attendance on Monday, which may mean that the team has no immediate plan to release or otherwise rid itself of either player.

this will probably be the only time that you see the other two (dickau & jones) near a knicks logo unless its playing for an opponent

I've alway's like Dickau- and if it was a choice between Nate and Dickau, I'd say to try to trade Nate.

I disagree...I think Dickau and Freddie are here to stay...

Players that will see little time (until a trade is made using them, waiving them, buy-out)

(For everyone not watching, he did say yes and that he's excited about what he can bring to the city and the organization)

by using those expirings, we can take back a player starting in the $8-10 mil range - so it could be someone of significance.

N8 and Malik to Sac-Town for Ron Artest seems plausible. Chemistry would be a concern of course, but defensive intensity would ratchet back up to 90's era level.
