Is this for real? Randolph brings us toughness in the interior?

he said he is done making moves and is not trading curry, lee, or randolph. He also thinks the knicks are a power team and they rebound, and score in the post and outpower their opponents. He says that the knicks interior defense is not a problem, and that the perimeter defenders need to keep their men infront of them.

He's on right now and saying that he talked to Izzo and investigated Zach. He wants to keep Zach as part of the Knicks Power basketball style. He feels Zach complements Curry. Isiah feels the interior D wasn't that bad, but that guarding the 3 pt line was the problem. He expect's that to improve. Doesn't expect to get brokedown as much next year. He says he puts perimeter D is on Guards and that shotblocking is to cover up mistakes. Demetris is a flat out shooter. He was knocking down 3's during workout and showed better offensive game than he showed in college. Max asks about how he'll use the talent he has on the roster. So many guys that are good and deserve to play. Isiah said Daley told him to get tougher on who get's to play. Cut down on the rotation.

Tough choices in who plays is a good thing. Isiah expects the playoffs and wants the team to play well in the playoffs. Thinks the Knicks are a contender if they keep working. Regarding Kobe and other top players that want to move, he believes that upgrading the team gives him more of a chance to get one of those players. Max basically kissing Isiah's fanny, but that's how it is sometimes. He likes Isiah.

We went from a team that was supposed to be the Phoenix Suns of the East to a power team in less than 1 year?

Does he realize that our guards CAN'T keep their players in front of them?

I can't wait till he is on with Stephen A.

First Off!!!! It's bout damn time!!!! Blah blah blah, Isiah you have done a masterful job of remaking the roster....

Ok marbury, crawford, jefferies are going to guard people we might be the worst defensive team in the league and be 1st in to's

With Crawford, Curry, Randolf your looking at minimum 11 to's every night, lee 2, marbury 2, nate 2, everyone else 3. And thats being nice, close to 19 to's before you know it........

I do agree with him, that the biggest problem is that guys let their man blow right by them. Jamal, I am looking at you.

If he does what he says and gives guys playing time based on effort- I would expect more mardy collins- less nate and possibly craw will loose time

Damn, I forgot Collins was still on this team. Too many names now to keep track of.

i dont think craw has to worry about losing time, his shooting is needed from the outside.

Actually don't forget that we have mardy and balkman and both of the new draft picks can also defend and are long and athletic. For those who are paying attention Isiah is remaking this team. Don't forget that Steph improved and Q already showed he can defend. The only guards we have left that are weak defenders are Jamal and Nate, both have the ability to do that and I think with more competition on the team they'll have no choice but to improve their D.

Thats why he should have taken affalo or almond instead of this chandler kid, we are very weak at the two guard and don't need combo type players.....

Almond is Allan Houston from the outside i don't care, how much isiah wants to lie. I think it makes sense to move randolf.....

L.A. Lakers Trade Breakdown
Outgoing
Lamar Odom
6-10 PF from Rhode Island
15.9 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 4.8 apg in 39.3 minutes
Incoming
Zach Randolph
6-9 PF from Michigan State
23.6 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 2.2 apg in 35.7 minutes

Sacramento Trade Breakdown
Outgoing
Ron Artest
6-7 SF from St. John's
18.8 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 3.4 apg in 37.7 minutes
Incoming
Jamal Crawford
6-5 SG from Michigan
17.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 4.4 apg in 37.3 minutes
Randolph Morris
6-11 C from Kentucky
0.8 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.2 apg in 8.6 minutes

Those trades would make a lot of sense.

Curry/Rose
Odom/Lee
Artest/Balkman
Richardson/Nate
Marbury/Collins

Now thats a team that can defend, has some ball handlers, and no real weakness. I think the Lakers might be open to that deal, if we have to throw in chandler go ahead and do it, it also, give up a future pick this works out great in the long run. Because Odom, Marbury, Artest and Rose all expire at the same time and it goes a long way to putting us in a position to win now and get cap room.

Actually Nichols and Chandler are more known for their offensive prowess than their defense.

Who is a lockdown defender in our starting lineup? Is Mardy suddenly our starting PG? Who's going to lock down guys on the perimeter in our starting lineup?
