WWE Wrestler Chris Benoit, Family Found Dead

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. -- Chris Benoit and his family were found dead in their Fayette County home Monday.

Benoit is a World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler.

Officials said the Benoit family residence is currently being investigated by local authorities.

Benoit was found dead in his home, along with his wife and his son.

Benoit was 40 years old.

Damn that was one of my favorite wrestlers. Him, Eddie Guerrero and Golberg. Eddie died too.

Chris Benoit was the man, one of the best technical wrestlers ever. Back when I used to watch wrestling he was always one of my favorites. It's truly sad to see something like this.

PWHeadlines is saddened to break the following news.

Chris Benoit and his wife, former ECW and WCW personality, Nancy were both found dead today in Atlanta, Georgia. Details are sketchy at this point in time. A meeting is ongoing within WWE and RAW will be dedicated to Chris Benoit.

WWE issued the following statement:

WWE.com issued the following statement this afternoon: "WWE is sad to report that Chris Benoit and his family have been found dead in their home. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Tonight's Raw will be a tribute to Chris and his family."

UPDATE: Benoit called in to WWE Sunday and said he would be unable to make it back as his family was ill and they were spitting up blood.

UPDATE: Benoit's son Daniel was also found dead. (Wrestling Observer)

Terribly sad, RIP. Used to watch Benoit and WCW all the time when I was younger. :(
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

wow. I live in fayette county ga. I didn't hear of this at all. but then again I don't listen to the news much.... very sad...
