This is a proposed deal according to SI. This is a crazy deal in Minny's favor. You'd have to take that wouldn't you?

All the particulars aren't established, but the basics are the Suns get Kevin Garnett, the Celtics get Shawn Marion and the Timberwolves get the No. 5 pick, the Hawks' unprotected first-round pick for next season, which the Suns hold, the Suns' two firsts this year (No. 24 and 29) and the expiring contracts of Kurt Thomas and Theo Ratliff.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I'd have to think one of the sun's picks this year (24/29) would have to go to the celts too- Marion is good, but Aigne is on crack if he's giving up the 5 pick & an expiring deal just for Marion.

I mean, that is the kind of deal Isiah would make.

That's quite a lot of picks for Minny.

Wow is right- Minny gets three picks this year and one next- they have theirs this year- I assume they have theirs next.

That is 6 picks in 2 years. As a rebuild, their own pick next year could be lottery.

Suns get Garnett. Minny gets 4 picks in a deep draft and cap relief. Boston does not lose their youth and gets Marion.
