What kind of Isiah fan are you? Are you down with whatever happens? If he drafts another reach, if he leads the Knicks to a non-winning season... or are those crucial factors that will sway your opinion this year? ... or are you one of those who thinks he has already done enough damage and should have been gone already?
R U kidding? Isiah should be gone already
I'm pro-zeke, but could turn against him this year
i'm pro-zeke, and think i'll be okay with whatever happens

I don't know if i can handle him passing on Morris Almond for Wilson Chandler.. not that I'm trying to say I know better than a pro GM, but if he follows that up with another season under .500 and Almond starts reminding everyone of Allan Houston i'm gonna be pissed.

Think he should be gone but isn't the real problem (Dolan is).

I'm kind of on the fence with IT. I like that we have gotten younger, but I hate the Vin Baker, JErome James,Jared jeffries deals. I like the direction that the team is headed in. I like the fact that for once, they showed some pride. I like that in possibly 2-3 yrs we will potentially be under the cap and with players in their prime.

Bottom line for me, is IT has made some mistakes, but at the same time he has changed the atmosphere at the garden. We have a foundation and now it's up to him and grunwald to make the right decisions from here on out. It's kind of hard for a team to make such a drastic turnaround in only 3 seasons, especially when the team we started with was Harrington, Weatherspoon, and Eisely.

I think Isiah's doing a great job because I suspect his secret motive is to bankrupt Dolan with a $10,000,000,000 Knicks payroll. Hopefully he can do some trades this off-season to get the Knicks substantially further over the cap, as they are now in danger of getting below the cap in a few years. This would be Not A Good Thing™ so we really need to support Isiah so he can see the job through to the bitter end.

I blame LB and his shenanigans. If he had just manged to get 30+ wins, Isiah would've been enabled to do more trades sooner. As it is, we've been set back a year.

Go Isiah!

No, I still blame Thomas. He was given play money and he spent it all, when it didn't need to be all spent all at once! He made the same mistakes Layden did. Now you can blame Dolan, because he made' them make fast moves. But then again, Thomas was given five years to make it all better. He has just over a year left to do it, but the contracts are longer then his tenure here (but wasn't there an extension?) so he may not have a chance to correct it and that's even if it's possible to do so. The whole thing is just totally stupid managment all way round. Were I use to work, they wanted everything yesterday! You make mistakes and it cost them even more time and money to correct it.
I'll never trust this' team again.

You can blame starbury for that one.

Well you all know how I feel about Isiah I haven't liked everything he's done, in particular Mo Taylor, Jerome James and Steve Francis, tho I could somewhat understand his rationale for James, I was hoping that he went after ZaZa and Steven Hunter and split the MLE between them, rather than give it all to James.

I like many of the players he's added to the team. I think we're in a position where we could stand pat and still end up in a favorable position by the next big FA market or add a player like R. Lewis and make a run now. No matter which path we take I think we'll be in good shape. I love the Curry deal, cuz I think it gives us someone who can keep us on par with any of the teams that have a bigtime Post player. All we need is to put the right players around him and we'll be a perenial playoff team. I think this off season will be a HUGE one in terms of our direction for the next 5 years.

Isiah should better "stand pat". When one does nothing he cannot make a mistake.
With the history Isiah has with the Knicks the best he can do - do nothing.

Ditto. This should be a choice.
I think he's done a mixed job. Unfortunately, the bad trades/signings have long term effects.

I don't care what the name of my GM is. I am always pro Knick GM because I need them to be successful so my team can be successful. I am rooting for Isiah to turn it around and will never say that it is impossible for him to do so. He's a smart guy that knows what it takes to win but seems to be at odds with his own mind. He's changed his plan at least 3 if not 4 times, has acquired players that had absolutely no fit into any plan, dragged the names of 3 coaches(2 hall of famers) through the mud, and has built an aura of excuse making.

I do not call for his firing or blast him on a daily basis, but he is on the hotseat and deservedly so. I hope he turns it around, I will root for him everyday to do so, but he deserves all the criticims that he gets. NY fans are not stupid and can read through the excuses. Show some results or we have to move on. "The greatest 33 win team in NBA history" is not enough.

Straight up, he's been paid a lot of money, and he hasnt produced. Worn out cliches aside, that is the bottom line. He has a strong b-ball mind, but he is prone to serious lapses in judgment.

He built up a decent reservoir of good will, when he rescued us from the Layden era and made the playoffs in the first year. That has all but dried up. Even though he has produced in the same way that Layden has, he doesnt share his qualities. Layden was a pampered daddies boy that shrunk under the limelight, and emitted a sense of arrogance and entitlement. Plus, he was the king of the safe move. Zeke is at least willing to take chances; he's tough and aggressive and KNOWS HIS 'ISH. All of his good qualities lead me to believe that he can be still be a top shelf GM.

I'm not willing to give up on him yet. He has built a solid nucleus, he has to start polishing the roster and winning.
