Nbadraft.net has the bulls picking joakim Noah at 9 and the knicks taking Marc gasol at 23.

Question is, who are the bulls looking to add? Paxson was gushing about the 9th pick being such a good pick, right? Who do you think is their guy? I don't think its Noah by the way.

As far as the knick? Marc gasol isn't gonna be a knick, I think we all can agree. Morris almond is a second rounder according to NBAdraft.net. Funny **** is that all the picks from 3 down are wide open. The talent is spread pretty even.

Imagine the knicks picking a guy that wins the rookie of the year award at pick 23? That would be bad ass.

The Bulls need an inside scorer. They already have an inside defender.
I don't know what they will do with the pick, Noah might be possible if he slides there.

I really doubt we take Gasol. We just picked a center/forward who is probably better than him with our "free pick".
We will take Williams and if we can get another pick, Almond.
I think the defender is more pressing than the shooter, as we have some scorers, albeit they (Q and Craw) were hurt.

The question is, after this crazy draft order, who might be looking to trade their pick?
I think Phoenix will trade one or two picks. Atlanta has two picks. Lots of trades are possible after this shocking draft order.

No one is going to get Rookie of he Year outside of Durant and Oden, probably Durant as he puts up numbers, though Oden is the biggest game changer.

If we could trade Frye and Nate for two picks around 15-18 in this draft, I think we'd be in good shape. This looks to be a deep draft and I think we could do better than those two.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Nate sells too many jerseys to be traded. It's about money.

No- I think outside shooter is needed more- and Isiah as coach knows this first hand- he's seen teams collapse inside against us and we had no answer- no one shooter, besides Nate, who could be relied upon to hit outside shots and punish teams for double & triple teaming Curry.

I think Isiah knows that for Curry to take the next step in his game, he needs an outside shooter or two.

Maybe, but other teams have traded guys who brought in a lot of money. We know Nate is practically useless, but some teams might bite because they have a larger role for him and the fan base is there. So, if you can get a better player for him, you do it.

Frankly, a winning team will sell even more jerseys.

I think Bulls will trade the number 9 in a package to get a low post guy like Pau or Jermaine.

Nate's jersey does not sell as well as you think...the most popular jerseys are Marbury, Crawford and David Lee.

Right now we have Nate, Q, Steph and Jamal who are all capable of hitting from outside. Balkman, Lee and Collins are a work in progress, but I think they'll get a little better as we move along. The idea of taking Sean Williams is pretty interesting in that there really aren't many young bigs that are natural shotblockers and he is one of them. We could always look to pick up a Kapono or Matt Carroll to fill our need for another shooter. I'd remind you that despite Nate being a hot head, not a good defender and IMO too small, he CAN SHOOT! He get's his shot off in the NBA without a problem and since he's so quick he can easily find the open space on the floor. I may not love his flaws, but I do like his energy and shooting ability. If Isiah sticks with him, I would understand.

A big SG like Almond would be an interesting pickup, but I have a feeling that Isiah sees our biggest problem is on the DEFENSIVE side of the ball. We can score with anyone in the league. We just need to get more stops. In crunchtime, If you put Curry, Williams, Balkman, Collins and Steph on the floor you have a pretty good defensive unit that can still score.

I could understand him looking to Sean Williams, but then i'd expect that he'd have to make a trade, cuz we'd have too many PF's. Frye and Jared in particular and now we also have Morris. So it would only make sense to do some kind of trade either for a pick or maybe he does make a go for KG or JO.

are the Knicks picking williams because he is the perfect compliment to Curry or because he is the right talent and piece at the PF spot?

I hope it's the later.

To get late into the playoffs EVERY starter on the team needs to be solid on both sides of the court (or at least not overly deficient) and have a the smarts, intensity, and team orientation. I hope williams has that otherwise I don't want him.

I am not sure about that. Too many clowns have made the playoffs without any quality you just mention. Kwame Brown keeps coming to mind. I understand what you are saying though. Williams has million dollar skills and potential with a 10 cent brain. He could be a headcase for a team or a huge payoff for another.

I'm all about trading Frye.

As far as pheonix, I read they might be interested in trading one of their big money guys cuz of the luxury tax. Marion is probably the one cuz he is getting older. How do you guys think that factors into a trade? Nate on pheonix might make Nate a superstar. Channing is from pheonix so that might be appealing to them. Pheonix still has James that 3pt shooter. They have a few guys to stick in a trade that the knicks could use. They could even shock the world and go get JO or even KG as well.

I don't really see where Nate and Frye fit. Nate does what Barbosa does only not as well and Frye hurts their D. I don't think Phoenix is going to bring in players just because they play offense.
I just hope that people will like me

I bolded the key word. This team is driven by $$$ which at times is at odds with winning, especially long-term winning.
