At all levels, college, pro, high school, pick-up games...

I hate to play 21 with 3 guys and everyone is shooting 25-30fters....making them at that. That is the most boring game of 21 there could be. Also I hate it when there are like 6-8 guys on the court and no one wants to play a 3 or 4 man! Fuck that man!

I also hate watching highschool games when they baby a certain player like he is Jesus. A lot of times there are players just as good or better playing around them but the attention is so high on that one guy that no one gives them the attention they need to get better.

I hate when guys wanna be Larry brown out on the court. Just play the game *******! Thos guys are telling you to do **** outside of your game just to get their own shots off. Just play the game. Pick-up is free lance. I hate it when guys want you to play their game then get pissed when guys are getting theirs and they aren't getting any.

if we're talking pickup, the best are the people who think they are the ****, they want fouls on everything and cry when they get hit and start fights with other people. stfu and play. at the gym I used to play at there was a regular who was kind of big and usually played point vs me when we ran full court, compared to me who is small, weak, and not even fast. I had no advantage whatsoever and I couldn't hit the ocean with a stone, yet this guy would try the most retarded moves all the time, I would steal the ball from him so much it used to infuriate him and he'd literally start throwing people to the ground on rebounds out of anger. funny stuff.

I hate when guys don't make quick decisions with the ball in pickup games. The ball will swing out to them and they'll just stand there for a couple of seconds looking around trying to be basketball professors, and meanwhile all the opportunities are lost as the defense recovers.

I also hate to see guys admitt like a bitch that they can't guard a certain guy. I'm like **** it, you don't wanna guard him? I will guard him. I'm a man just like him. If he bust my ass so be it. Chances are he won't score all the points in the game so I will be a man and man up! Just like highfivesuckas story. Strip his ass all day and play ball.

I also hate when you are playing with old guys like in their 50s, and there is this young dude playing so hard and talking **** like their at the rucker. No offense to the older guys on the board but you guys aint trying to prove anything, you just trying to get a good sweat and play ball. If a 20-25 year old guy is talking smack to a 50 year old man then he needs to be beat the hell down! Respect the game is what I say.

This is turning out to be a pick up game expose, Lol.

How bout the idiot that calls move and pick? How bout the ******* that calls illegal defense? How bout the idiots that agree with them? Those are 2 calls you can't make in a pick-up game. There are no refs for christsakes!

i was in greece over the summer. had an opportunity to play ball out there one day. on one play, they called an offensive foul. i didn't question it, but when was the last time you heard an offensive foul call in the US?

yea that is kind of wierd. I've never seen people call illegal defense or anything like that either. the only calls I ever really see made are walks/up and downs, and obvious fouls where you hear the slap or two guys smash into each other.

You call offensive foul in the wrong park you might not make it out of the park with all your teeth.

I never played overseas but you tend to run into those mofos in the parks south of 42nd. They have arkward games, kinda robotic. From watching youtube.com it seems like those mofos are getting way better. anyway, offensive fouls are for gays.

I also can't stand when you get fouled and guys stop playing and give you the ball. I know guys don't want no trouble and just are looking to be good sports and all that, but did I freakin call the foul? Play ball man, don't stop the game. If I don't like it I will call the foul or just make him pay next time. Its all good. At the end of the game or at the next dead ball we can give each other a pound and just keep playing. If it gets to the point where guys get serious they hey, the rest of the guys will break it up. I just hate to stop the game for some ticky tack stuff.

Also I always say shoot for it on all arguments. Let's play ball, I don't have time to debate I just want to play.

As long as my team wins, I'm happy, and that wasn't the case in Tarrytown.

Yeah dude, I started working on some shooting drills that really help me, especially if I shoot around a lot consistently throughout the week. I think with me, I just have to take a ton of shots from really close and then work my way up. I LOVE shooting those mid range jumpers if you didn't notice the last time and I just think the main key is just getting the 5-8 footers going first, when practicing and then working on some in game situation moves. I prefer practicing with my best friend, who's actually a great defender and good all around player, so going against him, and playing defense on him helps a lot for me.

Like I said though, I just wanna win games. If it means me just setting picks for guys, if they are scoring, and setting them up and playing defense and rebounding then I'll do that.

I hate playing with women. They are usually too aggressive or too weak. What are you supposed to do to a chic that wants to drive past you all the time you can really push them off a little cuz you might catch a hand full of booby. Or just getting cracked with a forarm by accident. I feel bad when that **** happens to them. It makes me wanna sit with them on the sideline and try to gas my way to getting her to go out with me on the weekend. I hate that.

I had a girl try to dunk it on me once in a church tourney when I was in highschool. She was like 6' or something but I didn't think she was gonna even try to do it. It was a fast break and I waa the only one back. She was coming rugt up the middle and just power dribbled once and tried to bang it on me! He didn't get close but she grabbed the net and shoot the rim real crazy. What made it worse is I jumped. Talk about being laughed out the gym.

Playing against women is fun. Just do a crossover dribble; instant wide open shot.

Plus I get 23 blocks a game when I play against women. No mercy.
