Why is everyone so anti-Spurs. If they win a ring this year that's 4 for Duncan and 3 for some others on this current unit (Parker, Manu, etc). These guys are just cold blooded. Plus the Deron Williams/Carlos Boozer vs. Tony Parker/Tim Duncan matchup should provide for at least a few games.

They were anti-Spurs before the suspensions were handed down. The Spurs beat the '99 Knick team so what do you expect? Posters of Tim Duncan on our walls?

Anyways, you will watch the WCF. You're just experiencing a little menustration at the moment.

And for the record, the Spurs beat the Suns in Game 1 in Phoenix with Amare and Boris Diaw in the lineup. SO stop acting like it was guaranteed the Suns were going to beat the Spurs.

and its guaranteed that if you leave the bench you get suspended. im so tired of everyone crying about this. DONT LEAVE THE BENCH. the spurs are vets, they knew this, nobody left the bench. amare and boris are both under 25 years old and have less than a decade of experience combined in the league. its the rule, you leave the bench you will get suspended.

this spurs team is lethal btw. i've never seen a bunch of cold blooded killers. parker, manu, bowen, BIG TIMMY, finley, big shot bob, those are 6 guys that know what it takes to win. how many daggers has manu hit? how many big quarters has tony had? this will big shot bob's 7th championship, thats more than MJ. think about that.

tim duncan will have as many rings as larry bird after this season. think about that.

the spurs are this generation's 80s celtics.

People do not want to give the Spurs the deserved credit. But I think that comes along with success.

Like Big says, Parker, Ginobili and Duncan are cold blooded killers. And since the league isn't filled with team who are great defensively, everyone can continue to look for the Spurs going deep into the playoffs.

Congrats to the Spurs. I was rooting for the Suns but the Spurs did what they had to do, and in convincing fashion too. They took control of the second half and pretty much blew the Suns out.

Spurs looking like the team to beat for the finals, but that should be a big surprise to no one.

Although the suns got hosed, I think the spurs were still favored to win the series regardless. The spurs are good, very good, Duncan is great, parker and ginobili are really good, and finley still has gas in the tank and he was always good... POP can coach... Detroit/ spurs will be a good series, but the suns got hosed, but again, it goes back to their style of play vs the spurs style of play... big man in the post, controlling the tempo, efficient on offense, changes the game..

Sun got played by the Spurs and left the bench.

IT happens when you get into a finesse teams head.

Man our knicks have a long way to go. We don't even have a "head" for teams to phuch with.

I'd rather see either Jazz or 'Leave it to Clever' win it, since they have none (I don't think' they ever did). But if the it's going to be the obvious, then I'd rather see the Pistons win it, because the Spurs beat us in the finals a few years back. LeBron might turn our to be the big surprise, who knows!

The Suns have got to be feeling pretty cheated. Obviously, the plan was to smash Nash's face in and knock him around and ultimately shove him into the table, right next to the Suns bench. Horry does it again. Back breaker. Oh well, it's not fair at all, but it's over. I think Nach should never have left Dallas. They both hurt themselves, by breaking up. That's the team that would have had everyone's number.
I'll never trust this' team again.

It just amazes me to no end at how the Spurs put such a team together on less money than the Knicks.

The Suns were outmatched this whole series. The Spurs took care of business better than they did. They really never had a chance.

Did anybody really expect the Suns in the Finals anyway? All of ESPN's "experts" picked the Spurs to win before the series even started. No defense, no championship. Plain and simple.

Even if one wants to accept the notion that the Suns got screwed (for their own misdeed) that excuse can only be used for one loss. Taking that loss out of the equation, the Suns still lost 3 games to 2 for the rest of the series.

Spurs are just the Suns nemesis, like Detroit was for Chicago and Chicago was for the Knicks. No team wins a championship if they can't get past the best team in their conference.
