I'll go with Pistons now rather than the Suns. Bulls look very impressive as well but Detroit is very composed.

I'm going to go with Phx.

My sleeper pick is the Bulls.

I like the Suns. Lots of talent, a good system and veteran leadership.

San Antonio?

That's my pick. Dallas was the one team I expected to give SA trouble, but now I think the path is wide open.
Phoenix won't make it past the Spurs.

THis gets interesting with the thought of Phx-Spurs beating each other up in a 7 game series and say the Jazz (or rockets, or Warriors) sweeep and rest.

In the east I still don't see anyone able to counter PHX-Spurs.

Its a shame they don't reseed. PHX-Spurs have earned a right to play GS or Jazz in the Absence of the Mavs. Would make for a better series.

Elite - how can 20,000 people dressed in yellow, screaming during the warmups for a desperate underdog, be described as boring?

c'mon...

Boring?!

We have the Bulls proclaiming they'll take the Pistons in 7 games.

We have the Cinderella story Golden State Warriors seeing if they can keep their run going. If they play Houston the matchup problems will be insane - who will end up controlling the tempo and exploiting them?

We two of the best teams in the West facing off - Suns vs. Spurs. How far will the run-and-gun offense and general lack of defense take the Suns? In the past the defensive teams have won the championships. Will the Suns come one step closer to breaking that trend?

And then there will be Cavs Nets. Since I hate both teams I have nothing positive to say about that series.

But that series aside... boring?!

I'm going to go with Detroit. Either SA or PHX will make it out of the west, but I think detroit has advantages over both, although PHX I think would give them more trouble because Detroit tends to have stretches defensively where they try to run with the other team.

There's two exciting teams left - Phoenix and GS. As long as one of them is in it, the playoffs should be fun.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Don't sleep on Chicago. They could be the 2004 Pistons. No one thought they would do it either, and they are very similar teams. Team oriented, balanced, and defense first.

I like Detroit in the East. I don't think The Bulls will be able to deal with the experience and talent of the Pistons. All of their quick motion and passing won't phase Detroit. The Spurs look like they've got their D in full effect, so i'm kind of leaning towards them making the finals.
