How were they able to do this with no post presence?

Why were Curry fans telling so many other fans the Bulls overspent for Ben Wallace?

They're haters.

Ben Wallace is more of a post presence than Curry will ever be.

Post presence is more defensive related than offensively.

in regards to ben wallace, tyson chandler may be putting up sexier stats but he would've been in foul trouble in 3 of those 4 games and had to sit 5 mins into the game. ben could guard shaq 1 on 1 (not stop him but can guard him) and that allows the bulls to play everyone else straight up and don't have to double.

what he provides, chandler would not have this year (if ever).

wade needs to work on his jumper all summer. it ain't that good.

let's just hope may 22nd rolls around and the bulls are picking > 8.

How is the without Curry point relevant? He's been gone two years, and the team has changed significantly each year since he left.

By the way, couldn't be happier. Nothing to boost your day like seeing a fuming Zo and disappointed Riley.

This does not mean they could have not swept the Bulls with Curry. It's not like Shaq or Mourning can guard Curry.

Wade was hurt and becasue Wallace could guard Shaw one-on-one, Miami did not have its usually advantage in getting open 3pt shots. It will be interesting to see if Chicago can beat Detroit.

We took Chicago's cancerous players off their roster for them and we even gave them lottery picks and cap space in return!

And what did that have to do with this series... and you are ill informed about the cap space.. someone on realgm broke the whole thing down, a bulls fan, and as usual, you could not be further from the truth...

Are you seriously asking what did taking cancers off their roster have to do with them winning? And who knows if Big Ben would have signed with them if we had not helped give them such a bright future. At least we got two soft players with ZERO playoff experiences in THIRTEEN combined seasons!

Notice how much more important defense is than offense from your PF/Cs if they give only one of the two. (Obviously good offense and defense is nice.) NONE of the playoff teams have starting PFs and Cs who both are great on offense and awful on defense but plenty have PF/Cs who are mediocre on offense and very good on defense. Isiah's got this reversed. He's focusing on the wrong things at each position.

Give Crawford and Curry back to them and watch how much they hurt that team. (Actually Craw and Curry would probably just be benched so that the serious players could play.)

There's no doubt that the Bulls have built a good team. Whether they've they built a great team is yet to be determined, tho I doubt anyone would honestly say that they are a great team. They were very fortunate to be facing this particular Heat team. I mean this wasn't exactly the strongest defending title team we've ever seen. I can't get too excited by this sweep cuz if the Heat were all that they wouldn't be getting swept period.

Bringing up Curry and Jamal is a silly topic, cuz they aren't the story. Jamal has been gone for 3 years and Curry 2. Over that same time period the East has gotten even weaker. The Bulls are really benefitting from that as are NJ, Clev and Det. If you're honest you know that this sweep of the Heat isn't really that impressive. It may be surprising that Miami didn't put up more of a fight but once the series got under way you could see that Miami wasn't anywhere near as potent as they once were.

That only makes our 108 losses over the last two years even more disastrous

True it has been VERY disappointing to have lost so many games, but I remind you that we've been adding a LOT of young players in the last 2 years. In fact this team was turned over almost completely in that time and we know how bad things got under LB. This last year was the 1st one where we actually started to grow as a team. Don't get overly concerned with the win/loss record. That's the real big mistake that we make when it comes to this team which is full of developing players. What's most important with a team like this is it's continued development.

You can choose to look at our team in comparison with teams like Chicago or better or you can realize that we are behind them in terms of development, but not so far off that a turn around is out of the question in the next year. I think it's fair to raise expectations for this team as we move along. Chi has gone thru the stages, but when it comes to our team no one is willing to let us go thru the process. If we're not at their level immediatley then we suck and are losers and this team is a big failure and should be redone. This was yr 2, tho we were actually behind schedule. This coming season will likely be one that this team takes a much bigger step.

why not give them back, chandler? or othella? or Tim Thomas? why is it curry and crawford? the fact that you and other continue along these lines is just silly and childish and baseless. As mentioned both curry and craw have been gone 3 and 2 years respectively. If anything they took it to another level once they got rid of chandler, but that would be unfair to say, and I would hate to imply such a silly thing, but that doesn't stop you and some others... What's next if chicago loses to detroit? will we see a thread about the bulls losing because they don't have curry and crawford? I mean this is such a silly thread and topic and just another way to cheap shot the knicks which we know is a bad team. No need to continue to drive by the corners of Hunts point and call the prostitutes Hoes.... they know that, we know that.... get over it...

LOL. Great point.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
