I question whether Frye wants to play in NY. All year long he seemed as though he was just going through the motions. For a player who has not had any injuries he has had a lousy year. Jefferies should be a 10 minute a game player.

The scary part is the PLAN from IT was to have these two guys as huge core players with 30 minutes each. I give IT a lot of credit with late picks in the draft--otherwise with the 500MM he has spent--he's been brutal. It's good to have Eddy Curry[if he stays healthy] but ill go back to what I said the day of the trade--TERRIBLE negotiated deal and almost everything that could backfire with that deal[other than currys health--who knows?] did.

Has anyone in NBA history given up a 2 pick a 7-8 pick in consecutive years along with 2 number 2s? Shaq didnt cost that much!

The only time Frye produces is when they get him involved in the offense, he plays shoots better defends better. He didn't have a role in the offense for some reason and was also given a quick hook maybe there is more than meets the eye with his play.

Yeah I agree, but that is part of the problem. Frye should be able to assert his will within the course of the game. How much longer are we going to need to spoon feed him. The are opportunities for points off of rebounds and hustle plays but he just isn't taking them. The two things I remember Frye for this season is 1) I think he hit a jumper to send us to overtime in 1 game. 2) His leg kick from the side line.

I can't count how many times that crossed my mind last night. What is Frye doing out there and why doesn't Isiah force him to try and shoot? He can shoot, even when his mind's not in the game he will hit a few shots. Softy. Too much pressure on him?
He is the one draft pick Isiah really will be questioned on.

What can we get for him? He is still a valuable trading chip.

These last games of the season should have been about trying to showcase Frye- I would have put in plays for him, and run them every single time down the court to try to get him to average 20pts

then, you might have been able to trade him.

Clearly, something isn't a fit.

I think it would be in our best interests to sit EC the last 3[no need to get him injured] and let Frye be the primary guy in the post from the 4 and use JJames and Cato as defensive centers. If we force feed Frye in the post--something good should happen--something better than 1-6. We have 3 games to move his value back up a tad.

The thing that get's me is people actually believe Frye is a center when he couldn't even post up Deng. Frye makes you appreciate Kurt Thomas.

Man hearing it like that that just gets me more angry. I don't think that that many picks (and picks that high) have been given up for any player, including all-star and hall-of-fame players, in trades before.

That's just one of many, many, many problems and even more many, many, many problems to come, now that Thomas has been re-signed. Dolan should have waited for the season to end, and it goes back to my theory earlier 'we needed new management to move to another level'. That chance has passed. What I mean by that, if you go and look at what was, when Thomas arrived, well' we still have the same thing today. We're not moving anywhere. For instance, our future piece, Frye, is a bust! And now another guy, Lee may end up being in question, with this mysterious injury. We aren't growing guys and gals. It just aint looking good at all. Dolan apparently has given Thomas the go ahead to F-it up even more in the off season. A fear that I didn't even know I had before is that it's like having Scott Layden back again. It's like he never left. Same old irresponsible moves and spending.

Okay, who wants to defend this?
I'll never trust this' team again.

Frye really disappointed me this season....He is so soft...his game is so soft...It just kiils me to watch him on the court these days...He kills me with the and 1 fouls...he commits two of those a game...He wants to be Sam Perkins...Really sad to watch...I can't even stand seeing Jeffries on the sidelines....I don't know why people were excited at that signing(nyk4ever)...

Jeffries sucks and Frye hasn't been close to what he was last year. Its been disappointing.

I don't think New York knows how to put any kind of winner together. Eveyone else gets it, in big cities, but this one.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Channing and Jared = the sissiest front line in NBA history.

Bottom line for me? Isiah already stacked the backcourt as best he could. Isiah needs to fix the 4-3. All the knicks need are guys that can match the play of the backcourt and complement curry and the knicks will be ok.
