Depending on what that kid from China? can do?? which I'm doubtful of:) I think this kid is huge with old school moves a lane clogger with a nice touch. I think the draft--atleast to me is CLEARLY
1-Oden
2-Durant
3-Hibbert
4-Horford
5-Brewer
6-Wright
7-Jianlan
8 Thorton
9 Noah
10 Conley
11 Law
12 Tiago Splitter
13 Marcus Williams
14 Herbert Hill[my surprise draft riser:)]

That is not a revelation! The guy is a legit center. Everyone has him top 5. Some have him as high as second in the draft after Oden.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I'd have a similar list except I'd take Durant 1st and put Horford after Wright.

It was unbelievable how much Hibbert's mere presence impacted the game. It would be nice to see his on/off court #s. I wouldn't be surprised if the score was about even with him on the court and Georgetown was about -30 (per 48 min) with him off the court.

You don't have Jeff Green in the top 15?

briggs - hill seemed to do a disappearing act when providence played against legit teams. other than a few exceptions (29&15 being the main one against syracuse) his #'s (both pts and rebounds) dropped big time against good talent. why so high? -- i just saw the blocked shots as well, surprised i haven't heard about this guy until now.

also, what are your thoughts on marco bellineli? he's played against the US a few times in international competition and got us pretty good. i remember him going head to head with wade and holding his own to say the least.

I not a fan. He's somewhere between 3-4 and I hate those types.

Just look @ the guys who went 12-14 last year. Hill is better than those guys. He fits the new age 4 position very well 6-10 long arms athletic moves on the break excellent low post skills very fluid good defensively---you put him on the right team and he should flourish right away--he would be a nice pick up for Golden State. He probably wont go 14 this year--more likely 20-30 but you always like to throw a darkhorse in there:) He played in the BE and played tough teams all year and continued to get better--probably the most under rated player in th country considering he is 6-10

I disagree Briggs. I see Green as Danny Granger playing against better competition. They are VERY similar players.

Thats a comparison I made few weeks back - Granger without 3pt range. Still, I would be reluctant to take him in the top 10.

I don't know Code, we made the mistake of not taking Granger 2 years ago with our lotto pick and look how he's turned out. Granger had the same flaws(shooting) as Green did going into the draft and since then he's really improved his shooting to the point where he's pretty good. I think they both have great work ethic and I wouldn't doubt for a second that Green wouldn't improve that J. Plus, Green has played in some huge games at Georgetown and he played like a all-star in all of them.

I wouldn't make the same mistake this team made with Danny Granger if we somehow found our way into the Top10.

MAn I'm not too sure about Yi 7th. When people work this guy out, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes before Durant!!!

Bewers not a top 10 pick................

With the talent in this draft, I can't justify taking Green, who's not spectacular on either end of the floor. He's solid but his quickness is average and his handle could use work. I think he'd have to guard 3s and might struggle in that department. Its difficult to predict these things but I'd put my money on Law, Brewer and even Marcus Williams before him.

You and I don't agree on to many things Anji, but the draft is certainly one area where we do agree.. and often.

I like Brewer, I think he's going to make a pretty decent NBA player, but I agree, in no way is he a top10 pick, he simply does not do enough things to put him in the lotto. We all know about his very good defensive ability, but I have questions about the range on his jumpshot as well as his weight. Playing at 185 pounds is fine in college, but what happens when he moves up to the NBA, he's going to get thrown around by guys that have 25-30 pounds on him, who he will be seeing on a nightly basis. I think he would make a great mid round 1st round pick but for a lotto team to draft this guy, I think you would be making a mistake.

I think Green and Wallace point shaved. There is no other excuse that could be logical after the way they played. gREEN DIDN'T EVEN WANT TOTAKE OVER THE GAME. He left hibbert by himself

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
